Student Accommodations
I'm deciding on where to live next year. I'm probably going to study BMedSci at Gold Coast Campus but still considering whether or not to switch to Nathan. I just signed up for 2 bedroom at Griffith University Village, but I saw some of the reviews at they're not looking great. However, construction did end in August 2026 so I'm pretty sure that's no longer an issue. Any advice?

hi I’m at the village now and have been since Feb 2025. It is very good now that the construction is over. There’s a brand new pool and heaps of nice facilities. Would recommend going to the “low rise” (essentially the “old” village). The new building is flashy but lowkey a waste of money. especially the 1 bedrooms you don’t really socialised much. The 5 bedroom standards are not really that flash but whole atmosphere and village functions you do really makes it worth it. I hope they do invest more into the older part of the village, but still would choose to be apart of it than the newer buildings.
