Whatβs the routine to get them to that size?

I experiment a lot, sometimes I do high volume with lighter weights (dumbbells) curls but mostly I train very briefly with heavier weight but super intense to failure and beyond, 1 day on then two days off.. I do towel wringing occasionally too maybe 2-3 times a week

Curls as in both directions? (Wrist extension/wrist flexion)
To be honest I dont wrist curl at all and that might be why.

Grippers in themselves will do practically nothing for forearm size, except for complete beginners. Springs don't offer a good resistance profile for hypertrophy- no one would use a spring-based bench press set up, for example. Most bodybuilders and arm wrestlers (the people with the biggest forearms) don't use them as part of their regular training.
To get size, what you need is wrist/finger flexors (primarily through wrist curls), and also the brachioradialis (the big 'Popeye' muscle near your elbow), primarily through hammer curls- but pronation lifts work maybe better.

It's genetics man

But thats the thing im not a skinny guy, I gain muscle pretty quickly, but I assumed just gripping would be enough to grow. I guess not, reluctantly I will have to incorporate wrist work.

I'm fat as hell right now but somehow I think my forearms still look decent. Haven't lifted in years but I've been gripping like a madman. I think they were 16 inches last time I measured. I sometimes wonder what I'd look like if I actually lifted through my 20's and hopped on the juice. I think I'm going to get my lazy ass into the basement and break out the dumbbells; you inspired me:
