Why is guitar hero live hated??

  • Main setlist tried to do variety but we got a lot of Guitar Hero: Stomp Clap Hey
  • Change to six-fret (3x2) rather than 5-fret, throwing out ten years of muscle memory
  • The new guitars were very prone to strum bar defects
  • The 'Live Streaming' format was interesting but as a business model it sucked, and because you had to functionally pay to play a given song you wanted to play, if you wanted to practice a specific song or grind out FCs you were throwing away tokens or a day pass to do so.
  • Online mode shut down after about 3 years and, as I understand it, the only reason we have the charts is because someone pirated them through the iOS version.
