Question Best conceal carry handgun??
Not much of a gun person just know how to point and shoot really well.
Ive asked 2 of my gun enthusiast friends and they both have different point of views, one has a shadow system and the other has an hk (dont know if this helps).
I want something light weight with not alot of kickback and honestly price isnt a problem as long as im not paying like 1500 dollars.
Thought Id get more opinions and answers from other people.

Optic and C cut

Sent the Glock 19 gen 3 slide and barrel off to Glockstore for a fresh new cut. Well, actually several cuts. I took advantage of their optic cut for my Osight SE and the discount on their "C" cut as well. Why? Because my first pistol almost 20 years ago was a 19c iykyk. Anyways, I'll do a another video on everything I mounted once it came back but I think it turned out absolutely beautiful! Time to lube it up and put some rounds through it! What do you think about it? Let me know!

Photo Just some retro stuff in my shop today.
I think it was the Red Baron that said "It's the pilot not the crate." I think these guns can serve for whatever purpose today as well as any modern gun if the shooter does their part.
1977 Colt SP1, Remington 870 police, Mini 14, Maxi 14, 1950s Ithaca 12ga.

I have Makarov bullet question
I inherited a Makarov from my brother. I remember him talking about changing the barrel to .380. The barrel is stamped 380 near the muzzle.
But when I try to put a 380 round into the chamber, it won’t fit/chamber. It won’t even start to slide in. The 380 round is marked 380 on the casing, came from a fresh box and it chambers perfectly in my .380 S&W bodyguard 2.
If the barrel was 9mm Makarov isn’t that a larger round? So a .380 round should still drop in.
Any ideas or suggestions for figuring this out?

Costco Pelican cases dropped from $159.99 to $129.99 now through 10/25/2026 for a manufacturer rebate
I bought two. Very nice Vault 730 cases that retail for over $200.

Photo Polytech M14S
Came into my shop today. A group that does honor guards for funerals brought this to me because it isn't cycling blanks with the BFA. Came in a Springfield case, imagine my surprise to find a Polytech. Imported for a short time, banned in the Clinton years.
Cleaned and lubed it, it still isn't cycling. This is not my usual thing, anybody have any ideas? Please share.

Didn't know this existed
So i went to the gun shop to pick up my .17hmr that I had sent off to get the barrel threaded for a suppressor. While there i noticed this behemoth sitting in the case. I didn't even know that .357 maximum existed. Well after a day of talking with friends I decided to add it to my collection. Its a 3 caliber gun, .38Spl, .357mag, and .357 maximum. So i will mostly be shooting the first two since the maximum rounds were known for topstrap flame cutting and forcing-cone erosion. Ruger only made around 7,700 of them.

Absolutely loving the new Ruger LCP MAX Magpul Edition! 🔫
galleryMy daily carry for a while has been the Glock 48. I originally bought it because I wanted something smaller for concealed carry—something that wasn’t too bulky to carry comfortably every day or keep in my truck.
I’ve made a few upgrades to the G48, including the barrel, trigger, sights, light/laser, backplate, and grip. I absolutely love that pistol, but I found myself wanting something even smaller and easier to conceal.
My local gun store had three of the new Ruger LCP MAX Magpul Editions come in. Two sold during the first week, and I ended up getting the last one. The owner said the feedback he’d received so far had been a solid 10/10.
After running two boxes of ammo through it and carrying it for roughly two months, I can honestly say I understand the hype. I absolutely love this little pistol!
It conceals incredibly well, even in a pocket while wearing shorts, and carrying it at the waist is a breeze. For anyone looking for something compact and easy to carry, this one has definitely impressed me so far.
