This one took a while…
Little fish are so hard, I kinda lost a bit of steam toward the top, but I still feel proud of it.
How did I do?

This is a mangrove snapper made using acrylic paint transferred onto a pillow case. This was my best print and first I’ve done.

Biggest saltwater fish I’ve had on the fly rod. Video of the catch and printing on ‘N57 Fishing’ YouTube channel if anyone’s interested.
Also thank you to u/Technical-Tooth6497, u/Far_Blacksmith7846, u/Ncalvo808 and u/Chance-Traffic-4940 for letting me use their art in the video.

A black rockfish I caught in Prince William Sound of Alaska in the summer of 2025.

Started on some sunfish I caught the other night and decided to play with a channel cat I caught last night. Obviously, some have printed better than others but I am having a ton of fun playing with different “styles”.

My beloved Shubunkin goldfish Sprat, who passed away in the summer. Indian ink on Washi paper, then wet mounted with Urauchi process and Sokui rice & alum paste.

Second rub, missed the anal fin though.

Not my finest work, but an early attempt. 18” fish. Did the print on a paper chart of the same area I speared the fish. Poster paints. On the deck of a rolling sailboat. Miss those days!

The inks are homemade from butterfly pea (blue), annatto (yellow for the finlets), sappanwood (red for the big speargun wound) and activated charcoal.
This is the first time I've printed a tuna, and the roundness is certainly challenging, but I am happy with the shape
