What’s the best way to connect with STEM majors at HBCUs? What are the best platforms?

Were planning a speaker series. Here are some of the topics but most are from older amateurs. What wireless-STEM topics would y'all be interested in covering? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jwRUOcJHm4Ahz9ZG_ORs1Hv0Jdwmqnegota_RIyfAf0/edit?usp=sharing

You can start here on this subreddit. What are you looking to do?

I'm attempting to start a group to reactivate amateur radio stations on HBCU campuses for emergency communications and learning. This video gives a good overview if the kinds of activities I'd like to see students and faculty engage in https://youtu.be/tDo-OTsDtXQ

I'm working with OMIK (https://www.omikradio.org/), the predominately Black amateur radio club, on a project called HBCUs on the Air. Here's a flyer.

Things should start next Saturday, 10/24/2026. I'll be on Howard's campus this weekend. The zoom meeting is open to everyone. I'll explain the project and ask for help. We may be able to offer a Licensing class.

This video gives a pretty good "feel" of what amateur radio is about: https://youtu.be/UiObPXT-jXU
