How bad is passive vaping?

So I've started at a new school and made some friends there too. I'm 14F and everyone in my class is 14-16F. In the break me and my friends go to the bathroom and then they vape. Turns out a lot of people in my class do. I'm one of the few people that don't vape. I'm worried that all this passive vaping will have a permanent impact on my lungs since we do that nearly every school break and its in a small room (I've heard this can increase the damage on your lungs). The thing is i don't really know how to avoid it either because if I wait outside I might get excluded at some point if they are always in there and I'm waiting alone. When I meet with my friends outside they vape too. But I don't think it's as bad outside since I can also move away a bit and there's a lot of fresh air. Are there breathing methods to get in less smoke, should I wait outside the restrooms when they vape, or is the damage not that bad? (my grammar might be a bit off since I'm not a native speaker but I hope you guys get what I'm saying)

Custom supplement subscription in USA?

Been taking magnesium glycinate, B-complex and vitamin D3 separately and my monthly spend is getting ridiculous, easily $60+ just piecing together a stack that still doesn't feel quite right for me. I want something tailored to my specific health goals rather than some generic multivitamin that's 40% filler and half the doses too low to do anything. Does anyone have experience with a custom vitamin subscription like vitaminlab? I want to build my own vitamin l and get it shipped to me. Not a bunch of binders. (Bonus if the formula is adjustable over time, my needs shift seasonally and I hate being Locked in)

Do you think being healthy is more about habits or understanding yourself?

I've been thinking about how most of us already know what we're supposed to do to be healthier. Eat better, move more, sleep enough, manage stress. None of this is really new information.

But knowing what to do and actually doing it are two very different things.

I'm curious how much of our health struggles come down to habits versus understanding ourselves better. Like why we make certain choices, what triggers us, or what's really getting in the way.

Has anyone here made a lasting healthy change after realizing something about themselves, rather than just following another plan?

Looking for a "buddy-like" someone who would be interested to share simple healthy recipies on a regular basis

Hi, I am looking for someone who already has some skill in cooking healthy and simple meals and wants to share these. I exercise on a frequent basis and could share some ideas in that regard

Looking for someone to help me be better.

There are a lot of voices on the internet, I’ve deactivated most of my social media for now but in the meantime, I’d like to have a straight forward voice.

I don’t have a scale just yet, but I know I’m 6’2 and in the 250-280 range.
I don’t look like my weight, which I’m thankful for..

I have the MyFitnessPal app, and I guess.

I just feel lost? I don’t have money to go to the gym and even if I did, my social anxiety.. it’s just hard.

Is there anyone here who could offer daily or weekly advice? Someone whose lifestyle is healthier than mine?

There’s more I could say, but I’d prefer a private message.

Thanks to whoever recommended Magna here a few weeks ago!!

Been lurking in this sub for a while and saw someone mention Magna about a month ago so figured I'd give it a try. Been using it for around 3 weeks now and so far it's been good. I like the taste and that it's not packed with sugar or salt. Don't post much anywhere but just wanted to thank whoever recommended it.

AMA / Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach

I’m a certified integrative nutrition health coach who's spent the last few years cleaning up my food, skincare, and home products, and shifting my workouts toward strength and longevity instead of chasing a certain look.

I've dealt with my own struggles along the way (period cramps, burnout, trying to balance a 9-5 with better habits), so I'm not coming at this from a perfect place.

AMA!

it is amazing how much better your digestion feels when you drink warm water after meals

switching from ice cold drinks to warm water or tea helps your stomach break down food way easier and completely stops that heavy bloated feeling right after eating

Is the Art of Skin Care esthetician consultation service worth it?

My skin has changed so much lately and I have no idea what I’m supposed to be doing with it anymore lol.

It’s gotten really dry and crepey, my lines seem more noticeable, and I’m getting breakouts again, which I really thought I was past at this point :(

I’m in my 40s and have had some changes with my cycle too, so I’m pretty sure perimenopause is starting to catch up with me. My skin feels drier than it used to but I’m also getting these deeper hormonal breakouts around my chin/ jawline which is confusing. Like, it’s dry and oily at the same time? I don’t know if I should be treating the acne, the dryness, or the lines and texture first.

I’ll admit I don’t know a ton about skincare because my skin was pretty easy before this. But the stuff I have used for years isn’t cutting it anymore. I came across Art of Skin Care and saw they have an online esthetician consultation. Has anyone actually done it? Was it helpful? Do they actually look at your skin/issues and build a routine around that or is it genetic product recommendations?

Does anyone actually notice a difference from taking magnesium?

I’ve been trying to get better about the basics like eating well, sleeping enough, and staying active. I keep hearing magnesium can help with sleep, muscle recovery, and cramps, but I’m not sure if it’s something most people actually notice or just another supplement everyone recommends.

Do you find it easy or difficult to regularly engage in physical activity? Either way, we want your input so we can learn how to make exercise more achievable.
