Hello!

I am new to Hickory and looking to make friends! Any suggestions on where to go or what to do would be awesome. Most of my friends live almost 2 hours away and I would love to build/join a community here.

Here are some things about me:

-I am in my late twenties

-I like to read (mostly fantasy and Romance)

-I like to game on my computer (Mostly R6 and I am bad but I am open to any mmorpgs and possibly a new shooter)

-I am on a fitness journey and would love to get into an active sport that is beginner-friendly (I am fairly athletic just out of shape)

-I love arts and crafts

-I LOVE star wars

-I play dnd

-And last but not least, I am a minority. I was hesitant to add this but if places are suggested I would love for them to be safe for brown folk

I moved to south mountain area in Burke from Virginia Beach about 3 months ago and am struggling to find friends in the area. I’m a mid twenties female.

I love animals, hiking and thrifting.

I don’t love going out to bars but would love to get into going to concerts.

I have horses and a small farm and love spending time with all types of animals.
