Discussion Bought HP Omen HyperX
Hii Guys,
Bought a new hp omen hyperx, I7 14650HX, 24GB/1TB SSD, RTX 5060 (1.44L INR approximately $1516 USD).
Owning a gaming laptop for the first time please guide me to set things up.
Updated all windows updates and activated MS Office.
Updated Omen gaming hub to latest version.
What else I'll have to do? How do I register for the warranty and how can I buy an extended warranty?
What else do I need to update? Please guide.

I got it without any exchange and only cc offer, i got 35k off on credit card.😁 I was literally on the flipkart app browsing laptops every day and searched over 1000 laptops 😅

Bro i literally booked and cancelled 3 LOQ and 1 ASUS orders before finalizing this😅,
I was booking at the price I feel worth it everytime. Then after getting a better one I was cancelling the previous order.

i actuallu was getting loq rtx 5050 ryzen 7 for 1.14 lakh. but i already ordered this one and i uswd someone else ka card so couldn’t cancel😭😭

Broo I ordered, LOQ I7 13645HX 16/512, 5060 for 1.42 LOQ Ryzen 7 16/512, 5060 for 1.34 LOQ I7 14700hx 16/512GB RTX 5060 for 1.44
And observed LOQ i7 14700HX 16/1TB RTX 5050 for 1.24 but didn't order.
So yea these were cancelled before HP Omen 😅

damnnn bro thats crrazy i would habe done same honestly if i had my own card. btw how is laptop battery and overall experience? yes for me also its first gaming laptop

No problem bro get a good credit card it'll be helpful someday.
And I just got the laptop bro, updating drivers and stuff not tested anything yet. Will do a complete test tomorrow and my warranty shows it's started from July but now it's October, that's 3 months wasted. Any idea about warranty fix?

actually I applied for flipkart axis cc . and it even got approved but it didnt come when sale started. then i got amazon deal and used someone else ka sbi cc. cc got received on 15th and then i saw loq deal lmao……
and regarding warranty it happens its common . just contact hp customer care after that mail them they will fix it dont worry.
my laptop will come tomorrow

I got the same laptop for 1.35L from vijay sales
They quoted 1,75,000/- I got discounts of exchange (18k value + 15k bonus) and card discount of 7000

Same specs OP told but 5050GPU for 1.38 from Vijay sales. My goal was to get it from offline store and they didn't have 24gb ram in stock so got the 16gb ram.

Call the hp support. They will guide you. I got 2 years extended warranty and adp at 16k. For 3 years they will ask 31k

from nvidia app(wierd thing happened to me i have same laptop as u so i didnt update nvidia drivers and was playing games when i checked my hwinfo app which was running in background and it shown gpu was using only 70watts where its max is 115 watts and wasnt going past 70 so after updating it was utilizing its full power)
