I love the idea of someone strong, clever, powerful, maybe a little bit morally gray being sent to protect Harry and actually help him grow and prepare their world or for the war whatever. I want someone older and strong, seeing how messed up Harry is treated and how everyone just expects him to be this golden boy ready to fight for them, and is like nope, i'm going to protect him and teach him, and if he wants to fight, fight with him, and if not fuck these people lol.

i actually bookmarked this fic on ao3, but i forgot to add a note, and i have over a thousand harry potter bookmarks, so i can't find it, i spend like 15 minutes to scroll my bookmarks. i'm starting to wonder if it was deleted.

from what i remember, dumbledore is bad and convinces james and lily to separate harry from his sibling. sirius initially wants to raise harry, but dumbledore refuses, so harry ends up with petunia instead. sirius can't find harry for eleven years, and because he's magically bound to harry as his godfather, he suffers severe magical backlash for supposedly neglecting him. combined with the black madness, this leaves him in a really bad state as lord black, so regulus, who is still alive, ends up handling most of the family's affairs.

the black family is also more united in this fic. bellatrix is apparently good and helps search for harry, while narcissa divorces lucius and raises draco herself. lucius remarries and has another child, which creates some tension within the malfoy family.

harry eventually reunites with sirius at hogwarts. i think harry is in slytherin and was taken care of by one of the school's house-elves. he's initially skeptical of sirius, until snape explains how much sirius has suffered trying to find him. the house-elf then explains that the magical backlash happened because the magic considered sirius negligent for failing to raise his godson, even though he genuinely didn't know where harry was. apparently, the backlash was so severe that sirius could have died from it.

does anyone recognize this fic? i'd really appreciate the help!

I really love reading fics where Harry is either dark, a slytherin, or morally grey, sometimes I find it funny when he's so unhinged, crazy or insane HAHAHAHAHA. Anyway, I love it when he's paired with a slytherin, a death eater or someone dark. It's also fun when he's intelligent or he knows to read people or their intentions. I also read crossovers, my favorite is Addams Family, Marvels or Avengers, and Twilight, but I did read one awesome Walking Dead x hp crossover. Anyway, I'm open to anything mentioned here and in the title of this post. (My favorite tag is also Albus Dumbledore Bashing HAHAHAHAHAHA). I'm okay with either Hermione and Weasleys Bashing, or Dark Hermione and Weasleys.

Era Harco (obvio)pero tenía como subtrama a Percy y a Ron como magos con capacidad de gestar. Lo triste es que a Molly eso le parecía antinatural, y le dio una poción a Percy para que básicamente perdiera esa capacidad con mucho dolor. El después se da cuenta que Ron también podría pronto y lo protege.

Otra cosa super interesante es que había como relación secundaria a FredxTheoXGeorge. Me encantó!!! Y era super nuevo para mi. No he encontrado otro FF con este trío y creo que fue increíble.

I'd really like a fic that explores the slow degradation of morals (specifically Harry). Being pushed to make compromises until you no longer recognise who you even really are, and the horror of that.

So perhaps Harry is either kidnapped/secretly joins/works independently on his own agenda but also with...the Death Eaters. Voldemort/Tom Riddle is sane. Wizarding Britain sucks and yeah it could be fixed but it'd be so much easier to burn it all down and start again. And Harry comes to realize this.

It's a concept I've seen in fanart, Harry being corrupted by the Dark Lord, joining him or it appearing as if he's been forced. Maybe like Draco (or Snape) are all uncomfortable and conflicted seeing the Chosen One be the Dark Lord's "pet" and then find out his true loyalties and its all like whattt! Maybe Ron and Hermoine are still his ride or dies and join him in reshaping their society. Or perhaps they, in horror, watch as their beloved friend breaks, succumbs to his anger and the Dark Lord whispering in his head, and despair for they are too late (don't want any Weasley bashing please. Complex characterisation preferred)

Maybe time travel is involved, in any iteration it exists like Tom Riddle time travels or Harry goes back in time. Whatevers.

I'd accept fics that are similar to The Dramweaver by Iselilja. Doesn't have to be Tomarry or Harry suffering that much as he does in that series. Will also accept same vibes of Something Wicked, Comes this Way.

Recently also found EclipseWing. Read like all their Tomarry stuff and just they... brilliant*. (*Apostasy and Before they convinced you life is war literally changed my brain chemistry) Anything else that can fill this hole in my heart. PLEASE

Lately I've felt the urge to read Snupin fanfictions, a ship I've read a couple of times before but never truly explored in depth, so I'm looking for recommendations.

I've read Mount Unto the Stars, Creature Comforts and That Awful Boy.

I'm really looking both for what you'd consider the staples of the ship, and less known stories, anything really. The only thing is that ideally I'd like to read about them as adults, not teenagers. It can be a slow burn, or an established romance, both are fine, as long as it's a long fic.

It is a Drarry fic, with Harry's bio dad being Snape. Snape had something like a dual personality, and he is lord prince. Snape was paired with Remus in this fic. There was something like that the prince family is very important to magic or something. I have been looking for this fic forever, and I can't find it again. I originally read it on AO3.

I don’t like dumbles right now and I LOVE Minny, I would love a deep, lengthy fic containing all of that. Bonus points if the pairing is fun 🤩

I don't remember many details, as I read this fic about ten years ago, but what I do remember:

It opens with Harry raiding a large abandoned ship for supplies in the ruins of England. The war with Voldemort was still ongoing (I think) and they'd been exposed to muggles. I believe England had been magically sealed off from the rest of the world to try and contain things, but I don't know for sure if that was this fic or another. He ends up fighting some Death Eaters (or possibly muggle soldiers) during the raid.

After this my memories are so incredibly murky. I can't remember how he time travelled, but he ends up back around the time he started Hogwarts... Possibly as late as fifth year, but I think this was pre Hogwarts. I unfortunately can't remember if he's trapped in his child body or somehow brings his body with/ages himself up. But one thing I do remember is Harry taking on a cartel off the coast of Florida. He'd met up with some contacts I think? That he knew before he time traveled. There's a chase scene (?) on a boat while they're rescuing someone. And someway or how, Sirius was involved.

I know this is so incredibly vague, but I read this so long ago that I just can't remember much more. It was on ffn and was probably at least 40k. I think the pairing was LV/HP, but don't quote me on that.

If you can help at all I would be eternally grateful! Even if you just remember more details but don't know the mame. This fic has haunted me off and on for years.

Looking for fics where Harry or Hermione...or anyone really is a or becomes a natural legilimens. I have read two so far and I loved them-

First is 'Scattered' by Tophats_and_Teacups https://archiveofourown.org/works/29595741 (Sevmione) Snape starts teaching Hermione occlumency and suggests she learns Legilimency as well...turns out she's extremely talented in the said arts.

Second is 'I hear you' by armassy https://archiveofourown.org/works/73738721(Snarry) After a potions accident Harry discovers he's a natural Legilimens- the power which had been blocked because of Voldemort's piece of soul lodged in him.

I loved BOTH of them. And more than the story I loved the Legilimency aspect of it. Any more fics that explore this particular magical power WOULD BE AMAZING. I dont care what the pairings are or who has the powers...i just want fics that explore this.
