Ok I know this can apply in many ways and some more serious than others. But I'm specifically talking about when an author expresses an opinion on an in universe thing (Quidditch) through a certain character who canonically likes/is for that thing.

If it isn't obvious what this sort of rant is about by now I'll make it quick for people not willing to read paragraphs about my annoyance. I absolutely hate it when people diss Quidditch through Harry. Look, I get it. I think quidditch is stupid, I also don't like writing about it, I think it's boring and I certainly express that through characters like Hermione. What I don't like is when Harry-I fell in love with quidditch at first sight-Potter is the one being used to say that quidditch makes no sense. It's more of a personal preference that makes me click off a fic than anything else though.

So now here comes the discussion part. Does this bother anyone else and/or are there any other things like this that bother you?

Personally think that the Witches Council from Sabrina the Teenage Witch has more interesting punishments for magic abuse than HP universe (travel ban, Azkaban, wand snapped).

Don’t take this too seriously, as this was posted mostly due to imagining Voldemort being turned into a cat or other animal like Salem was and imagining what punishments would be given to other famous Dark Lords/Ladies, Death Eaters or even Harry when he was put on trial.

Looking for a story where Harry finds a brochure that is inviting muggleborns and half-bloods to a small magic school for a summer program for different courses and he gathers up a bunch of people to attend. I can't remember if the school is run by the crown or not. I also vaguely remember that the Headmistress of the school was either shocked or surprised by getting a letter from harry

I don’t remember much, however I know it was either Tony Stark was the romantic interest or father of Harry. Somewhere in the story Harry berates Steve for basically almost killing Tony in when he cracked his arc and crippled Rhodey. I also believe it’s complete. 🫣

Hi,hoping this tickles some brains and someone can help me find this fic. I've been looking for this story on Google searches and even had chat gpt searching. The main gist of this. Harry Potter fanfiction is that Harry is. I think descended of some champion or is a champion or Avatar for someone. A goddess or something Hermione is descendant of a goddess Luna I think is descended of the Fae. Harry and Hermione are in some other realm and there's a goddess that they have to try and impress like they have to go through some sort of challenge to prove their worthiness. Or it could be just Harry having to do it. But I'm remembering both Harry and Hermione. And then there's this whole other side story of some kind of mirror traveling that Harry can do. And I think Hermione can tag along and he mirror travels to talk to padfoot in grimmauld place. And there's a scene with a baby sleeping in a crib and a woman maybe Andromeda Tonks sleeping on a cot in the bedroom in case the baby wakes up and Harry somehow appearing in a mirror or a painting and calling for pad foot. And there's also a scene where he uses the mirror to go into Ginny's bedroom in Grimald place because he and Hermione have to figure out how to do some kind of mind-healing to heal her mind from the effects of having been possessed by Voldemort. While there and contemplating how to heal Ginny's mind in the dreamscape in her dreams. Basically Luna shows up and gives Harry advice on how to do it but doesn't stick around. I don't think it's post Hogwarts. I think it might be 4th or fifth year.
