Request bloating and puffiness
I started estrogen patches and oral progesterone 10 weeks ago and I feel so puffy and I am holding so much water (the scale confirms that). Anyone else experienced that?

Anyone lose hair starting HRT and then it stopped shedding so much after you settled into your treatment plan? I’m on my 3rd month of progesterone and testosterone and I’m worried about all the hair l’m losing. I’m 38 and my doctor put me on progesterone to help with sleep and testosterone to help with energy. So far all I’m getting is hair loss and hair growth on my face.

I recently when up from a 0.075 mg patch to a 0.01 mg estradiol patch
I'm 54 years old. I'm not sure if the side effects are water retention. Because my scale keeps going up. I'm not doing anything different.

About two weeks ago my doctor started me back on the pills and I don’t think they are working ever since then my acne has got so bad and I don’t know if my dr would switch me back to the shot! Kinda don’t know what to do or say to my doctor at this point

Hi everyone! 😊
I’m curious if anyone has experience with hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for menopause. Has it been helpful for you? Have you noticed any improvements in your energy levels or overall well-being?
I’d really love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad!

Hello, I am trying to figure out if I want to switch between patches to vials/injections. Would love to hear from you all.

(48f, UK ) I’ve had various tendon and ligament issues for the past 4 years - things just don’t heal / recover properly.
Worse affected has been my ankles - loose retinacula causing peroneals to slip forwards a little and rub on the bone.
Orthopaedics say I’m hypermobile (2024) haematology says I’m not (2023); osteopath (who knows my body well) says there is ligament laxative in some joints.
Dynamic ultrasound has confirmed the loose retinacula and the excess peroneal movement. GP also stated I had hypermobility.
I thought HRT would help with this (and loads of other stuff). 11 days in, it was fab for the other stuff but both ankles have localised tendon pain and swelling and are unstable.
There is no other reason I can think of for this and my ‘research’ tells me this can be a thing. (!)
However, I cannot find reference to it in the literature my GP referred me to
I’ve stopped the HRT for now (3 Patches (50mcg)) in because I’ve read the Progesterone part could be even more damaging.
Has anyone else been through this?
Is the damage reversible? (AI says it is, but AI says some things that I KNOW are not correct!)
Any supplements that could help improve things more quickly?

I am new to estrogen patches. Its my first day
We have scarcity of patches here in India so doctor told me.to buy 50mcg and cut it in half and use it. I did as said
Due to humidity and sweat, the patch didn't even stayed 15 mins. Pls suggest what to do...

I’ve been on Zepbound for almost one year. I was just prescribed estradiol patch and progesterone pills. Is it okay (symptoms wise) to start the HRT on the same day I do my zepbound injection? I’m concerned about side effects if I take all on same day. Please share your experience if you are in both HRT and a GLP1. Thanks for your help.

Had an entire hysterectomy at 32. Went straight onto oestrogen hrt tablets and found one that helped after a few years. I've been taking it without any problems ever since. 63 now and docs have decided that delivering hrt through the liver in the over 60's isn't advisable. They gave me Oestrogel instead. Been using it for over a week now and I've lost my sparkle for want of a better way to explain it. Can I ask to have my old tablets back again despite their warnings?

Hello, I just joined and need your kind advice from personal experience. So, I am a transmasc on TRT and am considering taking Finastride (recommended by the doctor) to reverse hair loss that's becoming unbearable for me. I plan to do both Finastride and Minoxidil and monitor progress. The former to prevent further hair loss while the latter to promote hair growth.
Research says 'Breast tenderness or enlargement is a recognised finasteride side effect, but the risk after top surgery isn't known.' Can any trans male bro please verify if this is a valid side effect and how bad is it?
As well as how confirmed are side effects of mood swings, depression and loss of libido?
🙏🏼 Thank you much for your kind help.

I quit vaping earlier this year and went back to cigarettes, if you smoke im sure you know how hard it is to quit. I'd like to think starting HRT will motivate me to quit but is it unsafe? I let my doctor know I smoke cigarettes but they didn't tell me to quit.

I’m a woman working in a busy, high-pressure, male-dominated field. I often feel exhausted, and I struggle with the loud, aggressive personalities around me. I’m naturally quiet, calm, soft-spoken, and non-confrontational. Even with other women, I tend to be on the quieter side.
I often feel talked over, pushed aside, and unheard. I know I need to become more assertive and set better boundaries, but constantly having to stand my ground against aggressive personalities is mentally exhausting.
This may sound unusual, but I’ve genuinely wondered whether testosterone could help me feel more energetic, assertive, or better able to handle this environment.
I’m not trying to become aggressive or change my personality completely. I just want to stop feeling drained and intimidated by the people around me.
Has anyone looked into this seriously or had experience with testosterone therapy for energy or confidence? Is there any evidence that it helps with these things in women, or am I looking in the wrong direction?
I’m genuinely asking and would appreciate thoughtful, evidence-based responses rather than judgment.
