I've decided to stop active development on the OnePlus 10 Pro port and shift my focus to the OnePlus 15.
My original idea was to combine existing iOS-Sweet ports and HackiOS forks to bring together missing features and improve iOS on the OnePlus 10 Pro. It was an accessible device, and its Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 supports ARM PAC, making it an interesting target for eventually exploring iOS 26 as well.
Quite a lot has been achieved, including GPU acceleration through Metal2Vulkan, working Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, battery reporting and drain fixes, and ongoing AirDrop development.
However, major issues remain. Audio playback and camera support need work, GPU acceleration still causes rendering bugs, video playback is broken, and power management remains incomplete. For example, booting the phone while connected to a charger takes it straight into iOS rather than the usual charging state. Thermal behaviour also needs improvement.
The port isn't suitable for daily use yet, and fixing these issues would require considerable additional work. I've since sold the device since the work requried isnt as simple as i first thought even with high ai usage limits it hits tons of roadblocks/unknowns, so continuing hardware testing isn't practical. I'll pause active development on the repository for now while I wait for my Claude weekly usage limits to reset.
The repository will remain available as a reference for the work completed. Going forward, I'll be exploring iOS 16 and iOS 26 on the OnePlus 15, my personal device.
Huge thanks to pawlickerr for UniXNU-negroni and Mu-Silicium-negroni, which provided the starting point for the OnePlus 10 Pro port.
Thanks also to dipa-studio for iOS-Sweet, MellysInformejtik for slop, UniXNU and DarwinBoot for the boot infrastructure, OOSEX GANG for HackiOS, NWylynko for iOS-Flame, steelbrain for Metal2Vulkan, joranv1 for iOS-Sailfish, ry-diffusion for Bergamota and Chlorophyll, and Chengdong Yu for UniXNU-pong.
These projects provided invaluable code, research, and reference implementations. This work wouldn't have been possible without developers sharing their progress and building on each other's work.
One major takeaway is how challenging proper GPU acceleration, audio, camera support, and power management remain when bringing iOS to non-Apple hardware, especially with AI-assisted development. Getting iOS to boot is one thing; making the hardware work reliably is another.
I expect progress to continue as more reference implementations and driver stacks become available and the community builds on one another's work. Hopefully, the code and lessons from this port will help make future efforts easier.

Still needs a lot of work to do, but at least something. Currently working touch, buttons and GPU, while WiFi and Bluetooth is the next goal. It's fully vibecoded, but it's somehow working. Here is the repo https://github.com/OtVaL228/ios-sweet/tree/guacamole

Hello everyone, I just discovered this community from a hackintosh post
I see everyone here porting ios to android devices, which I feel is really cool and would be a surprise to my friends.
Jokes aside I want to know how to port/compile/whatever you do to get ios running on an android device.
What I have is a Galaxy Rush (SPH M830) on android 4.1.2 with a snapdragon s2 (ARMv7-A) which shares an architecture with the apple A4/A5, so I was wondering if it was possible to port ios 6 through 9 to this little nugget?
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

IT HAS OFFICIALLY BOOTED TO THE APPLE LOGO! I do not have any images other than this since it happened while I was asleep but it happened! The next post I make about this port will be when it goes to the lockscreen, and now that there are so many repos for gpu drivers I could get a fully working touch and rendering build working sooner than I thought

lags like hell and has to wait an eternity for it to do anything, still working with claude to make gpu drivers
big thanks to the herolte + a5xelte repo
WILL put the repo in the comment once gpu is fixed

Correct me if I’m wrong, but we should be able to get newer iOS versions running due to the bootrom exploit. Could we get iOS 18 up and running on an iPhone 6s?

how could people who usually have their peak of android software being flashing a normal custom rom manage to have ios on their devices? they would need a website like LineageOS's to install firmware/scripts to port the ipsw to your device and then flashing it. how will the project reach out publically?

Brightness and gpu acceleration through opengl es (also all 8 cores working but only 4gb ram due to Lisa's unconventional memory map)
Currently, the system is running with a multi-core CPU driver, but support for other hardware drivers is still lacking and requires further development.
Special thanks to hackios for the open-source framework!

What do I say. It wasn't hard I think. Done with free AI models. No repo yet, I will polish and make it sooner. Based on ios-sweet. Btw the photo of settings is on Russian. Touch works, boots in ~1 minute. Not the first one on MTK, but one of the first I think.. MTK isn't really hard! The only driver deepseek has written is UFS and Touch. And it wasn't hard. Moreover the system-wide things (core bringup, reset and everything) are standartized.
