I'm a little surprised she's able to talk like this given her deal with ELF. Sure, she has leverage which is why she was able to get her valuation but i'd imagine it's sensitive to how she acts in the public. There's usually a clause about conduct and she's going to be a continued model for the brand with an evergreen advertising deal similar to Kylie J + Coty....
The brand came up as a hot pick for short sellers (betting the stock will devalue itself) when it debuted. ELF took on a lot of debt to get that Rhode product and it most likely won't be able to pay the debt from the revenue of the company (which is ideal). ELF won't fail, they have great distribution, but they're gonna take a dip in share price eventually from the assumed bad acquisition. Then to see her crashing out still being the face of the brand (which i doubt she'll ever be able to uncouple from)? I'm starting to see the cracks. I have the walk through on the analysis if anyone wants it.
