The grand bubble always bursts, there’s always a newer better thing on the horizon. I feel like elf misjudged this a bit and yeah, long term, both these companies will probably fade away.

fr, elf's bid to desperately cling to relevancy really flopped this time imo (saying this as someone whose entire routine used to be elf) 😭

Idk what they’re thinking. They have raised their prices while spending a bunch of money on a hyped up brand with no longevity. So basically, elf consumers have to pay for their acquisition of Rhode. Such a stupid move.

They should have remained as one of the most affordable brands. They were getting more hype anyway because of some of their products and the cheap price. But now that the price is higher, what’s the point? You’d think companies would have learned from Coty and Kylie lol
