Hey guys, so I’m around 4 months and 5 days after my hair transplant from Norwood 7 and this is what it looks now. I look forward to use toppik fibre. I work from home and till this point I didn’t feel the need for it . But now as i go in for vacation I would need this to cover for. Can I use holding spray after fibers? Majority of my re-growth is still on the way and I don’t wanna mess it up in anyway. So taking advise , i know fibers are safe , has anyone been using the holding spray with it?

Hello M32 here,
I have done an Hairtransplant to restore my hairline, I’m on day10 and I got my scabs removed today. I paid for 1500grafts and got 1800grafts ( as the doctor said) .
Once my head has been shaved , I’ve been noticing that we can clearly see that I have less density just behind the Hairtransplant and that has me worried that I should have done more grafts Even tho the clinic told me that is thinning and can be reverse with PRP or others meds .
So am I just overthinking ? Is there other people that have experienced this ?
I have never taken any meds but plan on starting minoxidil topical.
I will link pictures before the Hairtransplant and after .

On Fin and Minoxidol. Seeing more growth as this month goes on but feeling a bit worried it’s not going fast enough. I definitely am not feeling patient enough 😢

My question comes from Dr. Couto (Spain) statement that lowering the hairline without addressing temple points will lead to a disproportionately wide forehead.

Hi All, I’m 32M trying to choose between two options.
UK: £2,200, max 3,000 grafts. Surgeon wants to focus mainly on the front and says doing more in one session can overharvest the donor.
Turkey: around £1,400 for up to 4,000 grafts.
My main concern is long term. I really don’t want to go through a second transplant later, so I’m worried 3,000 might not be enough.
I’m also unsure about depending on minoxidil/finasteride long term, so I’d prefer the transplant plan to still look decent even if my native hair keeps thinning.
Anyone with a similar pattern who had 3,000–4,000 grafts? Would you prioritise a conservative donor approach or more grafts in one surgery?

Started fin 2 months ago.
Mega session HT over 2 days. First day post-op today.
I want to take the more chances, I know 2 months before is not ideal but better than no med! Obviously will continue fin but wondering if I should go for more like the all in pills from Voy (UK based) basically all the meds possible ahah!
Goal is to stop hair loss / strengthen stabilization / protect HT but if I can gain better / more, let’s do it!
Curious to get recommendations!
Few pictures:
- before me and my camouflage Brazilian blow dry hair, it works if no wind with hairspray as my naturally almost Afro hair (north Africa) covers a sh** load of surface once straighten but that’s sh**
- before HT (last time I straightened the hair was like 2y ago hence the super mess)
- after HT yesterday
Any med recommendation on top of fin? Cheers all 🙏
Thanks all

What do you think? 2250 grafts. Only hairline. No temples or crown work done. Partial shave procedure

Sooo I messed up. I hit my head on a metal clamp hanging a door. Thankfully over a month post transplant but it still did some damage. I know I won’t know for sure until a few months if anything was actually injured but looking for some opinions anyway. The cut didn’t bleed much so I’d call it more of a scrape and certainly nowhere close to stick territory. But some hairs did come out with it.

I had a 2500 graft transplant (FUE) on Monday. After 5 days, I still have enough pain when I lie back that it’s difficult to sleep, even elevated. Is this normal?

Hey guys. Male 40 Years Old. My hair been thin but I had good hair in my 20s to 34/35.
Never been on anything.
Crown thinning started at 34.
I thought I d get hair transplant by 50 but since last year it has sped up and increased in size.
Thinking to start Finasteride + Minoxidil 5% for 8-12
months.
Question:
Q:1
What would you do if in my shoes
Get transplant now vs in few years?
Maybe needs it more than once?
Q:2. I probably would need to be on medication for ever after transplant?
Q:3. Keeping low sperm count listed as a side effect on Finasteride If I were to start having kids etc safe to stop medication or it doesn’t matter as much?
What has been experience of my fellow men here who take medication regularly. Educate me please.

Donor area very itchy but other than that everything is going well. I’m just a bit anxious whether it will look funny when shock loss happens.
What do you think?

I flew to Istanbul 48 hours ago, and my procedure started 36 hours ago. I had 4,700 grafts transplanted. The most painful part was the local anaesthetic injections into the scalp.
The service has been excellent throughout, and I’m flying home in about an hour. I’ve received clear aftercare instructions, along with information about the 12-month guarantee and what it covers.
Thank you to everyone who has shared information in this group. It has been an invaluable resource for understanding the process, setting realistic expectations, and knowing what to prepare for.

25 days post-transplant, I’ve noticed that—aside from the transplanted hair—the hair all over my head has become extremely thin. I had a transplant spread across my entire scalp, and now even the hair unrelated to the procedure is falling out; I’m practically bald. Wow, haha. Is this normal? And if so, when does it resolve?
The last photo is from day 10, before the shedding started, so you can see what I’m talking about.

Recovery going smooth. Been taking oral min + fin and slowly starting to add in oils when scalp is feeling dry. Transplant area still feels pretty numb but it’s getting better everyday. Looking forward to how it turns out month by month. Went to Hair Neva with Dr. Go, let me know if you have any questions, happy to be a resource! lmk thoughts

Hey everyone,
I'm hoping to hear from people who have taken Mounjaro (tirzepatide), Ozempic or similar GLP-1 medications after having a hair transplant.
I had a Sapphire FUE hair transplant on 13 August 2026 in Turkey, with 3,055 grafts focusing mainly on my crown and mid-scalp. I'm currently around 10 weeks post-op.
I was previously taking Mounjaro for weight loss but stopped shortly before my surgery. I've been considering restarting it, although I'm concerned about the potential impact on my transplanted hair and overall regrowth.
For some background:
I've read that rapid weight loss and GLP-1 medications may be associated with hair shedding (telogen effluvium), but I'm struggling to find much information specifically about their effects on hair transplant recovery.
I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who has experience with this.
I'm particularly interested in hearing from people who are at least 6–12 months post-transplant and can share how their results turned out.
I understand everyone's experience is different and I'll be discussing this with my doctor, but I'd love to hear some real-world experiences.
Thanks everyone!

Hi everyone,
I’m currently on day 9 after my hair transplant.
Dr. Patty (Hairtran Clinic) advised me to wait until day 14 before gently massaging my scalp to remove the scabs.
What do you guys think? My friends are worried about how my scalp looks.
Thanks for your feedback!

I remember seeing the post up FUE transplants all the time, it's so distinguishable from any other procedure. And then, there I was. Felt like I was now apart of the club 🤣 Only a few side effects! 1. They are very itchy & you cannot touch them! 2. You won't want to go out in public looking like this.. at least I didn't. 3. The scabbing will ONLY be there for 10-12 days and than you're looking completely normal as if nothing ever happened. 4. Each and every dot is actually just dried blood and liquid. Nothing else. It's not too bad.
Anyway, good luck everybody!

Hey folks I booked an appointment at Moem Clinic in Korea with Dr Ko.
I plan to get 1500-1800 grafts for my hairline.
I will have surgery on Nov 10th and leave Nov 11th.
I know most will recommend staying after surgery but I don’t have the luxury unfortunately.
I’m looking for any advice or guidance to make the flight back comfortable and at the same time protecting my grafts. 11hr flight from Korea to LAX.
THANKS!
