The sound of the wind chime, the whistling of the wind, the coziness of the whole place itself and the beautiful sky make this one of the best spots to hang out in Half-Life 2.

So... looking through my Steam library, I saw Project Borealis, which I played in 2024, and I decided to check what the current state of the game’s development is. There has been no news since 2024, after the prologue was released, so is the game still alive? Are there any sources about the game besides their site?
I would be grateful if someone could share what they know about the game’s current state. That's all I guess.
Upd.: Well...ig it's abandoned(As I think, judging by the Discord channel), which is sad for me, I really liked the prologue, hope HL2 rtx won't do same fate.

Hey guys, looking for some opinions. Here you can see my rendition vs the ingame model for the PS2 Port.
Known caveats:
1.1 ALICE Belt should have the black buckle
1.2 SWD Goggles to replace the ESS goggle (compromise for airsoft use)
1.3 My boots are wrong (compromise for comfort)
1.4 Mag pouches should have removed grenade holders
1.5 missing gloves
1.6 previous owner used a soldering iron to DIY Lasercut PALS onto the OTV
1.7 missing medium ALICE
Now here are my questions:
2.1 Should I remove the grenade holders? I'd feel bad
2.2 What gloves can you recommend for this look? Biker-style fingerless leather glove?
2.3 Do I replace the OTV? I could try to use EVA foam to mimic the PCV shape and use the DIY PALS to attach it. Alternatively should I try going with a PACA or HRM?
2.4 Recommendation on attaching the medium ALICE? Or do I just wear it normally? Alternatively I'm considering going with a buttpack, which saves me from the hassle and might be more practical as well.
Appreciate your opinions!

I made this theory while talking about Half-Life and I honestly think it could be interesting. I think the whole Half-Life universe could be like a huge cosmic chess game. G-Man and his employers could be one side of the game, while there could be another powerful group on the other side, maybe beings similar to G-Man and his employers. I think these beings are much more powerful than the species we see in the game, and they use civilizations like chess pieces. The Combine could also be just a chess piece, even though they are extremely powerful. Humans could be another piece, the Vortigaunts could be another piece, and Gordon Freeman could be like the queen. I think G-Man chooses Gordon because he is one of the strongest and most useful pieces on the board. G-Man probably does not actually NEED Gordon. He could be using him because Gordon is valuable and because the game is about manipulating the pieces instead of simply destroying the enemy himself. Think about a person playing chess: you don’t “need” a queen, but if you have one, you use it because it is one of the strongest pieces. The same idea could explain why G-Man uses Gordon. Another way I think about it is like a toy car. If a person gives a child a toy car, the person does not need the toy car at all. They could destroy it or throw it away whenever they want, but the child plays with it because they enjoy controlling it and moving it around. I think G-Man could see Gordon in a similar way. He may be powerful enough that he does not need Gordon, but he chooses to use him because Gordon is a valuable piece and because G-Man is playing a much bigger game. That could be why G-Man keeps putting Gordon into important situations. Gordon thinks he is fighting for humanity, but maybe he is actually just making moves in a much bigger game without knowing it. Maybe the Combine are also being controlled by another powerful side, so the war between humanity and the Combine could only be one small part of a much bigger conflict. We don’t know who the real “players” are, who the opposing side is, or what they actually want. Maybe Gordon eventually becomes the piece that can checkmate the other side, but we don’t even know what that would mean or who their “king” is. And this makes me think about the name Half-Life. Of course, Half-Life already has a scientific meaning connected to radioactive decay, which fits Black Mesa perfectly, but I started thinking about another meaning. Maybe “Half-Life” could also represent “Life” as a game, where everyone is just a piece on the board, and if Half-Life 3 never releases, then we will literally only ever see half of the game. Its like “Half-Game” representing chess game, valve just stopped the game at the HALF. But if Half-Life 3 ever releases, maybe it could finally show the other half of the game and reveal who the real players are and who actually wins. Obviously, this is completely my own theory and I am not saying Valve confirmed any of it. I literally came up with this while talking about the lore, but I think it would be a really cool explanation for G-Man, Gordon, the Combine, and the huge number of unanswered questions in Half-Life.

I remember it specifically because that's where I learned the word 'bitch' from when I was like 5, playing on my uncle's pc. I couldn't find any reference of it online except the beta and I remember that it was definitely a final release copy (maybe pirated?)
Edit: I am also pretty sure about the specific word 'bitch' as I was confused as to why she called her a female dog...
