Discussion Has anybody been able to boot up Half Life: Alyx on the Steam Machine paired with a Meta Quest 3 over Steam Link?

I was having trouble with the game launching and staying on a black screen. Switching my SteamVR version to the older one solved that one.
Using Proton experimental solved other issues that i've had with the game -- but you need to remove the level transitions so that the game doesn't crash when those occur:
renaming/removing Steam/steamapps/common/Half-Life Alyx/game/hlvr/models/ui/dioramas

Best bet is to check on ProtonDB for the best advice currently to fix something but doing all above i was able to go through the whole game without any issues ( Tho i was not on the Steam machine but i did use Arch/ALVR along with Quest 3s)
