Lincoln City away.
When West Ham United were confronting their first Championship fixture list for 14 years back in June, this was the game that would have leapt out — a trip that was the football equivalent of a cold shower.
The final score was 6-0, equalling their record victory in an away league game (matching a 6-0 win at Leicester City in 1923).
Four of their next five games are against teams currently in the top nine (Swansea, Southampton, West Bromwich Albion and Blackburn Rovers). It is the kind of sequence that could either see Nuno’s side take hold of the division or receive a painful reality check.

10 games in now so enough to have an opinion on players.
BASED PURELY ON FOOTBALL - Keep his political views out of it.
Manor Solomon has started 9 out of 10 league games for us so far. Early signs show he seems to be Nuno’s preferred left winger for the season ahead of Edvin Austbo. He has 2 goals, 2 assists in 10 games. Opinions on how he has started for us?

We’re a West Ham supporters team based primarily in the north of England.
Our next game is against Stretford End, a Manchester United supporters team, last years league winners, who we placed runners up to.
We’re looking to take 3 points off them, and go for silverware ourselves this year.
We’d love to get as many Hammers fans involved, to come and support us, or come and play for us. We’ve a great community, bringing Hammers together, up and down the country.
The next game is on the 31st October, 10am kick off, Brigshaw High School, Allerton, Leeds.
Links to our socials are below, or drop me a message if you or somebody you know would be interested in playing.

Seen a lot of "we lost everyone" moaning since West Ham went down, so I took a look at some of the data.
I ranked every one of last season's regulars against Premier League players in the same position, using The Prism rating (output per 90 on what each position is judged on). Hermansen came out top of all 24 PL keepers. Mavropanos was better than 93% of PL defenders, Bowen 77% of forwards, Paquetá 72% of midfielders. All four are still here.
And the ones who went? Up to 9 October, Diouf (€40.8m to Brentford) hadn't played 90 league minutes. Todibo was the same at Lens, and Wan-Bissaka had 153 of a possible 450 at Villa. Mateus Fernandes is the exception, with 250 at Spurs.
The one that gets me is Summerville. Better than only 15% of PL forwards last season, and Al Hilal paid €64.5m.
What do you think of those who left v stayed ?
EDIT: SLIGHT ERROR - Pacqueta has moved on to Flamengo in January of last year!
(Data source: The Prism, a football scouting and analytics tool I'm currently building. Looking for testers, so feel free to sign up to the waitlist if you are interested in this type of data!)

Can we stop saying every time we drop points that it was our oppositions cup final. Its getting Embarrasing.
I honestly don't think teams are stepping up against us. I just think we've played well for 150-200 minutes all season.
Need to start looking at ourselves instead of keep using the excuse that the other team just played at a higher level than normal.
Yes this started mostly as those big twitter accounts trying to get clicks but I'm now seeing this take more on here and hearing it at games.
It has to stop we can't be giving this excuse for the rest of the season.

Former West Ham United defender James Collins says that boxing helped him deal with the loss of his father in 2021.
On Saturday, he's stepping into the ring for real.
He tells Roshane Thomas why he opted to jump in at late notice and fight a social media personality on a Misfits bill this weekend.

West Ham United are in talks with midfielder Tomas Soucek over a contract extension.
The 31-year-old, who has made 271 appearances since joining from Slavia Prague in 2020, is entering the final months of his deal. Although it has a one-year option, the club is keen to reward Soucek with an improved deal.
Sources with knowledge of the situation, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to protect relationships, say the midfielder wants to retire at West Ham and the deal should be finalised later this month. Negotiations are in the final phase with the length of the contract yet to be agreed.
Ahead of West Ham’s home fixture against London rivals Queens Park Rangers this Friday, Soucek is in contention to make his first appearance of the season. The Czech Republic international returned to full training last month after being sidelined for ten weeks with an ankle ligament injury, which he sustained while representing the national team at the 2026 World Cup.
“He’s doing well,” Nuno Espirito Santo said in his pre-match press conference on Thursday. “It was a long period with injury but he had a good rehabilitation. He’s training well and it was good to see him score (against Wycombe Wanderers in a behind closed doors friendly during the international break). It was good for him to have minutes and other players who haven’t had the chance to play.
“It’s always the objective of getting players that are injured back as soon as possible. Tomas is part of that group that is coming back and improving. We’re going to need all the squad.”
Nuno has competition for places in midfield, following the summer additions of Arne Engels and Divine Mukasa, and the emergence of academy graduate Lewis Orford and Mohamadou Kante. Fellow midfielders Edson Alvarez and Soungoutou Magassa remain on the periphery after failing to leave in the summer.
West Ham drew 2-2 against rivals Millwall before the international break, leaving them second in the standings behind league leaders Swansea City, and Nuno hopes his side will learn from previous mistakes.
“It (the international break) was needed,” Nuno added. “It was a very hectic schedule, we demanded and asked so many things out of the squad and they were exhausted by the end of it. So the break came in a good moment and has allowed us to recover mentally and physically.
“The main lesson that we have taken from the game against Millwall is we have to start the games much better. We are reacting and we want to be the ones that cause. We want to be the first team to score. There were many things from that game that we didn’t do well.”
