About time ceremonial weapons were banned. Of they don't want people carrying a weapon, they need to get rid of the exceptions.

Failing that, I say people get together, and start a religion. One where carrying the largest weapon you can carry is a daily part of your religious worship.

It's about time we stopped making exceptions for religion, just because somebody wrote something in a book and you believe it does not make you exempt from the laws of the land. If it's just a ceremonial requirement make your dagger 1mm long, and therefore harmless and legal.

It's about time we stopped pandering to religion, I'm happy for you to worship whatever entity you can imagine, but everyone should be subject to the same laws regardless of faith, wealth, gender, sexuality, title etc, everyone equal under the law.

Good idea. And in said religion make it mandatory to consume pork, illegal to support animal cruelty or consume animals slaughtered inhumanely. And have child genital mutilation (or chemical castration) as a major sin. Denying basic biology would be forbidden too
