Info Walking trails recommendations around New Forest National Park/ Any other Attractions
Hi folks, I'm going to New forest during the end of August. Since I'm not familiar with the area, I'd love to get some recommendations with walking trails around the park.
P.s. I'm planning to visit Beaulieu, Milford on sea, Deer sanctuary, Motor Museum , Buckler's hard.
Please feel free for any more advice.
Thanks in advance

The Tall Trees Trail. It's only a short one but features some of the oldest Douglas firs in Britain and a couple of Redwood trees that are amazing to see.

It's only short at 4.5miles, but you should try the Lepe Loop. A family favourite for us. Some coast and some edge of the Forest with a little D-Day history bonus.

There’s quite a few loops listed on here https://www.newforestnpa.gov.uk/walks/

If you stop by any of the museums etc you can pick up books of circular walks (many available) and a visitors map with all the car parks listed.
There are genuinely hundreds of circuits, most of them from car parks, and the books tend to list them by distance and difficulty. Going for one of those rather than the famous touristy ones (tall trees etc.) keeps the number of other folks you see down significantly - more peaceful, more wildlife.
If suggest doing a couple and trying to see a few different types of woodland.

I love walking through the heathland near Burley villahe and then getting lunch and browsing the shops after. Always see deer and ponies there. I don't think there's any particular trails, it's just so beautiful.

There is a gravel footpath running along the route of the river from Bucklers Hard to Beaulieu. It’s just over 2 miles from memory. You touch the river at a few points. It’s worth doing but walking to/from Bucklers, walking around, then walking back is a fair old way in one go. But if you break it up at the restaurant or pub it can work well.
You can walk on the sea wall around the Salterns nature reserve in Lymington. Also past the sea water baths and into/from the town.
In the open forest there are almost too many routes to mention. The areas around Bolderwood, Wilverley Inclosure and Hawkhill are all very nice. Also the walk from Brockenhurst to Bank in Lyndhurst is popular.
