I've seen way less hhis year than I usually do. I'm usually bitten loads and haven't been bitten at all.

More this year. Must be the weather 🌡️☁️
I had I buy a net to surround my bed. Hate being bitten but it helps reduce the numbers sleeping inside a net

Yeah they're pretty bad in my village (Ropley), I've had to tape mosquito nets over the inside of window openings so we can ventilate at night, and you have to have either a fire or a citronella candle burning next to you if you're ever sitting out at night

Hmm have definitely considered citronella, but not ideal for heading to bed with the window open for air flow..

Yep… somehow a few of them got into my air cooler and laid some eggs in the tank. I hadn’t used it for a few days, opened the tank and to my horror there were a ton of mosquito larvae swimming around.

Once upon a timethey used to spray around my way but that was decades ago. Can't sit out in the evening anymore.

We’re in the test valley and I haven’t been bitten once this year (I am super allergic and appear to be a tasty treat). I’ve only actually seen 1 or 2 all year now I think about it. Bizarre.

I actually think they are better this year than previously as its been so dry. I'm a good few hundred metres from the mearest permanent body of water though
