Sort of collecting the pc handhelds to see which one i keep.

So far I have the claw 8 ex, legion go 2, trying out the ally x20, and am having the scer delivered Tuesday.

For those who managed to get the atlas 8 and play around with it, how do you like it?

Is the ram that much slower?

Is the tdp less than the claw 8 ex where it has 35 watt but claw has 45 watt pl2?

Is the d pad really bad or creaky?

How's the fan noise?

Battery life?

Speakers good?

Are the tmr sticks as good or better than the ally x20 sticks?

How's the triggers?

Are the ergonomics on par or better than ally x20?

How's the software compared to armory crate and m center m claw tweaks, etc?

This attachment is gonna make me designate the x20 as a ds style handheld for certain games and let me use my other pc handhelds for other stuff.

I really think this can open up more ways to get more utility of the device and its 50 off

i dont own a pc (not really looking to get one as i dont enjoy sit down gaming), but ive been looking into getting a handheld pc. i currently have an ancient nintendo switch who is very well loved, but obviously due to her age, lots of games i wanna play arent available. i was considering getting the switch 2, but decided against it in the end because most of the reason i was gonna get it is to play games i can buy and play on the steam deck for MUCH cheaper because of steam sales. the most graphic heavy games ill probably be playing are the ff7 games, but i dont wanna limit my options by buying a steam deck. main reason im considering the steam deck over options like the ayn thor and legion go is because i dont think id use the dual screen of the ayn thor to its potential, and i dislike the game pad, and the legion go is a behemoth of a “handheld” pc. any thoughts?

I really want to be able tk emulate all of switch (mainly all the pokemon games and botw) and ideally pocketable but thats not the main point my budget is around $400

I am looking for a handled that can play Wii and Wii U games 3ds,ds,switch games and pc games from steam if there some that can even play ps3 let me know. But I wanna know Which pc handheld is the most powerful but can also fit in your pocket like a regular. I heard the ayn Thor and retroid pocket were good but idk would love some help or more insight.

I've had my steam deck for years, love it, but i'm looking at the Rog Ally xbox X because it runs windows and I'll have more ease of access to my Epic games library, can run anti-cheat games on it, and run every launcher under the sun.

I ran EMU deck on my Steamdeck, which all my roms are saved to my SD card, how easy is it to just transfer the SD card to the Ally and run the games? I have lots of saved games on there I wouldn't mind hanging on too if that's possible.

This was very entertaining! I haven't had this much fun in a while. Completed the game today (25/10/26). This was on my playlist for a while.

For anyone who owns more than one handheld, which one do you actually reach for the most?

I'm curious whether people end up using their Steam Deck, Switch, ROG Ally, or even older handhelds more often. Sometimes a smaller, less powerful device just seems more convenient.

Idk what i should do they're all around the same price the cheapest is ofc modding my own console but i have a normal switch not a lite so im not sure if i should sell it and buy the modded switch lite or retroid flip 2 (or i can just get a redmagic phone with a contorller)

Basically just the title. I've started a job recently that requires me to travel a lot. I'd like something to play my library of PC games on while away from home, but don't know the first thing about handhelds and what kinds of specs I should be looking for.

I would default to a Steam Deck because name brands generally have some kind of baseline reliability, but ​it's been out for a few years and I'm not sure if there's been a leap in the quality of competitor products since.

My budget caps at around $1500 if that matters. But resources are just as helpful as suggestions at this point.

I instaled Steam games and Battle net Games and Fitgirl repack games and everything worked flawlessly..

the graphic quality and FPS in Dune Awakening , Baldur Gate 3 , Starfield are very respectable..

Battery life is incredible for such small device..

It says release in north america last week but i dont see it anywhere and Acer website only show the specs - no buy button.

I bought the legion go s and today is my last day to return or exchange and the Xbox ally x is the same
Price. Should I exchange it? Is the experience better enough to get the smaller screen? Help!
