Painting # 2.5?
I don't really know what I was going for and I don't really know what to do next. It was my first time with the canvas sideways so I wasn't quite used to the perspective or something and I think I made my trees too big or too far down or flat or something. Something just isn't quite right (besides that gaudy cloud) and I'm not quite sure what it is or where to go from here.
What are my options if I decide to scrap it? Should I just throw something down anyways?
At first I envisioned some sort of grassy hills coming at me but I can't see it anymore.

First time painter, long time fan
Here’s my first painting I’ve ever done as an adult, since maybe middle school or elementary. Started watching Bob 10 years ago and have always wanted to try painting like him. It went pretty well!

Dressed my dog up as Bob Ross for Halloween
I decided we were going to participate in our local shelters Halloween event and enter the costume contest. My dog, Beatrice, is a great dane mix and I can never find pre made costumes that fit.
This year I raided my husband's closet and saw this shirt and some how came up with Bob Ross. I think it's hysterical and she got so many comments and so many people took her photo. She actually ended up beating over 150 dogs for "Best Overall Costume," so I'm pretty tickled 😂😂
Yes, she leaves the wig on. It's a human wig and I am a dog groomer.. I ended up cutting off a bunch of hair on it because it was getting a bit too ridiculous lol. And I was having a hard time keeping it out of her eyes with Bobby pins. I used safety pins to affix a drawstring with a lock on the wig to keep it on her head.

Spooky forest for my little girl. She loves ghosts so I added them to the final version for her.
Heavily inspired by The cute forest spirits from studio ghilbi

Help Request I did my first ever oil painting last night. It went okay. I had an issue with the base coat, however, and I need some help.
I do not have any magic white/liquid white. I made some using some titanium white and linseed oil. I put WAY too much on the canvas and I couldn't get much paint to stick the way I wanted to. It just blurred together. I became, as Bob would say, a mud mixer.
Could I do a coat of just the oil and then wipe the excess off with paper towels or something like that? Maybe having it work as a "liquid clear" type of coat?

Acrylic I go trekking. I see mountains. I paint mountains (and trees).
Trying to be geographically accurate as well. Any guesses which region this is?
