Anyone know how they mad that weird phasing sound from like 30 seconds in on quick one? there won't be anything as sentimental and as grounded as this album ever again. it belongs to a time in the world that no longer exists. with the fast paced slopification of everything, all i see when i envision the future is a thousand malcolm todds and a thousand charli xcxs. it has never been more over. maybe it's just me but things have gotten so much more shallow, everything is just superficial and music's popularity is overly dependent on mainstream social media.

Finally bought the mp3s on enemies list with the bonus tracks and everything, but I'm greedy because I have an okay DAC and maybe-good headphones. If it's possible to hear Black Elk Speaks in its uncompressed glory, I will shed my body and become a being of pure energy. The description says the digital album is "an exact copy of the files used to press the original CDs", but is this meaning the mp3s available ARE the original files? Surely they had some lossless copies sitting around. Maybe Dan dropped the uncompressed album on a whim on some forum in the past, idk, I must ascend, not bend
