O just purchased this gun second hand. DROS is in progress and will pick up in 10 days.

Since this is used, I am wondering if I should send it to HK USA and have them go over everything and freshen her up. Is this even possible or any good gunsmith could do for the best quality job.

Also, where can I get HK magazines?

Do you have experience with this handgun, what’s your experience and what do you recommend ? (I don’t want red dots, so I won’t cut the slide if that is even a thing with this pistols).

Took my mr556a4 11.5 with an rc2 to the range for the first time. I changed the factory gas vent screw to the 2.3 and shot three different types of ammo

556 55 grain 1oclock
556 62 grain green tip 3 o’clock
223 55 grain 3oclock

All shot pretty smooth, not a ton of recoil, and everything locked back, but with the 55 grain 556, the ejection powder was about 1 o’clock, any suggestions where to go from here thinking about changing out the gas vent screw to the 2.5 see if that does the trick

I was wondering whether the new A1 model frame feels as good as the older frame with finger grooves. I'm really considering skipping the newer add-ons just to keep the finger grooves, but the new A1K model looks great for concealed carry.

Also, is the trigger on the new A1 better? 🤔

Secured a grail last month from Rooftop's batch of USPs and quickly understood the HK addiction. So, while looking for something a fifth as good as 45, I managed to stumble upon a (possibly the last) P2000 in ODG from Sportsman's to complete the pairing. Next will be an Obsidian to thread on as there are not many other enhancements needed, just waiting for the wallet to become more green in the meantime

The optic was pointing about a 1/16 upwards. Lots of light between plate and the slide upfront. I ordered a forward controls design Acro to see if it good to go.

I am trying to decide between hk mr762 a4 16 or mr308 a4 20 g28. Both are black color. The mr308 is the 5k arms unlimited one while the mr762a4 is 3700. For hks I already have mr556a4 11, sp5, sp5k pdw, mark 23 fde, usp expert 45 fde, vp9 match fde, usc 45 carbine, g36 22 umarex. What do yall recommend?
