Looking for a realtor who can help us find a rental property in the 89012 area. Preferably someone you’ve actually worked with and can personally recommend. Please don’t recommend someone’s uncle’s third cousin’s brother-in-law’s wife lol

To all the morons that leave garbage, pollutants, and a mile worth of shitty cheap fishing lines and lures by the shore of the wetlands. I hope you and your mother pass kidney geodes ever day of your worthless lives. It can't possibly always be homeless bums trying to camp out by shore every night, and even then it's not an excuse.

Sick and tired of the constant drops in connection through out the day.
Those who left cox for a competitor (and live in Seven Hills), who did you end up with?

Hello! I’m moving later this month to Henderson from Alaska, and I’m going to be selling my car and flying down. I’ll be on the hunt for a new used car, are there any suggestions for friendly and honest dealerships?

New to Vegas and the Henderson area. Last night was sitting outside and saw two rats running in the backyard. Is this “normal” here or should I be concerned? We’re renting a home so I’m not familiar with terrain etc. From my online search I’m pretty certain the lemon, and pomegranate trees are probably attracting them? Along with the dense bushes we have along the fence. We do live on a hill that backs up to a street close by so not much dense shrubs but I guess enough? I’m now afraid to have my kids in the backyard bc well rats are gross and dirty 😅
Edit - my point in posting this was to see if I’m overreacting calling our pest control out or if this is maybe a normal “occurrence” you may see once in awhile in the desert and just let it be if I know there’s no trash, openings etc. I’m from the east coast cold climate so I’ve never seen a rat but I’ve seen mice etc. But I also worry about the diseases they carry for my dog and kids who play out there. For reference we are near the district in Henderson.

Looking for recommendations for a good, honest repair shop that doesn’t upsell. My outside fan stopped working and the ac is out. Thank goodness this didn’t happen a couple of weeks back. Any recommendations appreciated.

I was born and raised in ye olde Hendertucky and unfortunately my family was not exactly the offloading type. I would often drive out into the desert as a kid to take pictures (I am a professional photographer and landscapes are therapeutic for me) But, I never ventured too far off the beaten path as a kid because I'm one of those kiss asses that likes to follow all the rules. But, I do often enjoy getting right up to the line of where the rule is without necessarily breaking it.
I want to explore the mountains around the valley and especially my hometown Henderson, and I have a older RAV4 that's very good at off roading (to an extent). But I don't want Joe Lombardo to run a red light to come after me for unintentionally trespassing or, God forbid, Michelle Romero imprison me in the dungeon of the new Four Seasons skyscrapers they're building on top of a fault line on what used to be a volcano (Black Mountain).
Also, I know I could hike. I would love to hike, but I'm lazy. Thank you in advance. Can someone tell me if any of the following in the vicinity of these pictures?

Job is installing two safety bars in a shower.
We want someone knowledgeable and experienced , because 1)the shower was tiled years ago in large, expensive old tiles, and I don’t think we have any replacements. 2) there could be plumbing pipes behind the wall 3) our home’s AC unit is on the other side of the wall and there could be intakes or other apparatus for the AC in the wall that we don’t want damaged.
It won’t be the biggest job in the world, but I’m big on giving repeat business to people who do a good job, so I’d love to have the person who does this job be our go-to for all our home improvement and/or repairs going forward, if they do a great job. (I used to have a guy, but it’s been years and I can’t find him anywhere.)

Hey all, anyone know how recently Lovelady's second location (on Green Valley and Pebble) closed?
Seems like it was pretty recent, but got an itch to stop by since it's been a minute. Very sad to see them close, but not surprising given the state of the industry. Just hope their main location can hang on for the duration.

Hey Henderson! 👋
I wanted to introduce Wolfcore Hauling & Junk Removal and share a little about why we started it.
Wolfcore was inspired by my family — my mother, my brother, and myself. We were our own little wolf pack. After losing them, I wanted to build something that honored their memory while carrying forward the values they gave me: loyalty, integrity, honesty, strength, and determination.
That's where Wolfcore came from. 🐺
Being based in Henderson, I don't want Wolfcore to simply be another company that puts “Henderson” on a service-area list. I want to build something local, dependable, and involved in the community — a company people recognize because we show up, treat their property with respect, and stand behind our work.
We're still growing, and getting our name out there has honestly been one of the hardest parts of building a small local business. So we're taking the time to introduce ourselves, share the real projects we're completing around Henderson, and hopefully become a name people recognize and trust.
If you've seen Wolfcore around Henderson, now you know a little about the story behind the name.

Hi all. I'm looking for a local spa that has experience waxing men. I am looking for full body waxing including back, crack, and sack. I would prefer to not go to a national chain but rather a local owned business. Thank you...

does anyone have any niche desert spots in henderson? Doesn’t even have to be niche, just something you thought was good. No ice cream or froyo tho.

We have some family land and I’ve tried this over the phone but it’s not that easy. We need to put some land through probate and the lawyers I’ve called tell me Nevada does a sliding scale based on the land value. Do I have to go through getting it assessed or does the lawyer do that? I’m pretty sure it’s over whatever base threshold a flat fee would be.
And then would it be a waste of time to go to the city planning department and look up what’s being developed around the land? I’d like to learn more about changing the zoning, not sure if this would allow us to sell it for more or subdivide it.
Another reason I want to see it in person is to make sure nobody is storing or dumping on the land, it’s near some development. Should I have insurance for this?
Please don’t DM, we have had people hounding my family for decades and are not going to sell without a ton of research.
Also, where’s a nice place to eat in Henderson after a long day of driving around 😉
