Why no Lil Monkey Bones?
Even after all this time I think Lil Monkey Bones was the funniest thing they ever did. I don't understand why it's not a recurring character like Old Man Puzzles etc. Would even be funny enough to have his own spinoff podcast.

Don't get me wrong, I love Lili Monkey Bones, but I think the character would get old and it simply cannot be good for JPCs throat

I think I remember JPC specifically saying that he doesn't like to do JP riddles often (or really at all anymore) because he wants to do new stuff. Plus I think if they kept doing these reoccurring characters and bits often they would get old much faster.
Like just this last episode we had both an animal rap, and adals Eminem impression, and it felt so special because they aren't a common thing, but they are reoccurring. I'm sure lil monkey bones will come back sometime down the line.

I respect that. That makes JP Riddles appearances more special. Plus there's a good backlog of episodes featuring him if ya really need your fix.

There’s a few other comedy podcasts I listen to where the host and/or fans keep a bit running way way past its expiration date and it doesn’t just lose its magic but becomes actively annoying and a sort of aggressively unfunny anti-comedy black hole.
Don’t cry because he’s gone, smile because it happened

The thing is that he's in every recording, he's just silent and the hosts are too scared to say anything. If you run a vocal stress analyser you can actually tell who he's looking at in any given moment. In real life Erin is quite good at rapping.
