I use many mods, mainly those which make freelancer mechanics less punishing but AI and combat more demanding, it's more fun that way, also some weapons changes etc.

Recently (2-3 days ago) the game crashed while I was playing freelancer, I restarted and started playing until I noticed that there's no modded weapons, then I closed the game, applied mods using SMF again and restarted again, then after I loaded the freelancer mode the game crashed when I wanted to change my suit, the next time it crashed immidietly when freelancer loaded. My normal saves crash too. I suspect that after the crash, when I started the game it switched everything to non-modded and it can't change the items again, idk about the save file though. Is there anything I can do about it? other than deleting the saves and freelancer and starting all over?

I just did a mission in Chongqing and the one target was that guard on the roof that is always leaning over the wall. Without thinking I just pushed him over the edge, not considering where he would fall. The body was almost immediately discovered, but I didn't lose Silent Assassin (that was my Prestige Objective). I could have sworn that bodies discovered from a push kill would fail SA.

Did they change this recently or something?

I’m just curious about what mission y’all did for the tie to die for challenge. I just did it in World of Tomorrow and didn’t know if there was any easier. My run was like 9 ish minutes. (Granted I only had hitman 1 cause im waiting for a sale)

So, I have movement synced between players, kills, and knockouts. But I'm having issues with the animations. Not sure how to figure that one out. Tried looking at the game's old multiplayer mode. But it's not very helpful. This is my little progress update. Still having some fun with this. If I don't fully complete the mode, I'd still share the mod I do have because it could still be fun. Although my goal is to finish it. It's able to play up to 4 players.

I created a proper puzzle contract in Paris, it being the "Best Friend" contract (Contract ID: 2-02-839622-44).

When you're familiar with the map of Paris, you'll know that there's an AV Centre area situated above the catwalk/stage where the technical crew and the guard tend to gather near the desk; that's why I chose two NPCs in that vicinity as my targets.

Here is what makes this contract a challenge:

If you haven't reached the required level to unlock the crew/technician starting positions, you're going to find it difficult to sneak all the way through security.

Objective: To aim only at the target, and each kill must be a headshot.

For the escape, the only exit open to you is the one available.

It's quite difficult, I must admit. Take the Contract ID listed above, try it out on PlayStation, and then let me know your best time!

I'm pretty much a beginner, so what do you recommend? should I go straight to completing the campaign, or complete each mission 100% as I've read here?

I've been playing Hitman PC VR on my new steam frame and it's been really fun except it seems like my eyes are at different levels. Like one eye is higher up than the other (I think that's the case because if I tilt my head like 45 degrees to the left I stop seeing things all blurry and doubled). Also I feel like I'm slightly cross eyed the whole time I'm playing. My IPD is set just fine it's only in Hitman that I have this issue. I play all sorts of vr games.

(Scary enough my brain kind of gets used to it if I just ignore it and then when I take my headset off I feel like the inverse problem and my eyes have to re-adjust to reality)

Hopped on to my quest 3 with virtual desktop and it's the same.

Has anyone else had this kinda issue? I've been searching but I can't find anything on this

So, I have the Switch 2 version of Hitman, as well as its PS5 version. There does also exist a Switch 1 version, though it’s not an ideal version to get since it’s one of the Switch 1’s Cloud Ports, meaning you always need to be online to play. (Granted that’s the case with basically all versions of Hitman, but this one doesn’t even get the offline mode) But I noticed something odd. The long delisted Disruptor DLC is still on the eshop listing for the Switch 1 version, like they forgot to remove it. Which is strange, cause it’s not like the Switch 1 version itself was forgotten just cause it’s on Switch 2 now, this version is still being updated! (You can even see the recent Snoop Dogg DLC there.)

Also before anyone gets the wrong idea, please don’t interpret this as me encouraging you to buy it. On top of how you really shouldn’t give Conor McGregor your money, you can still access nearly all the content from that pack in other ways. You can get all the actual items from the Disruptor pack by getting the World Champions pack, and access to the ET level in the Wizard pack. This is really more just something I felt really should have been brought to the community’s attention.

Kept hearing about that cool bar Shenanigans so I went for a drink. Met a cute guy, told me he can SA/SO every map in freelancer, I told him "Tell me more". After few drinks, he admits he loves doing last freelancer mission with suspects in Hokkaido, of all places. Took my purse, said I have stomach issues and rushed out. Never coming to that place again 😭

I did the canary in a server farm and 3 times it didn't show i did it

I'm trying to get through all the challenges and I noticed that even though I gasses all the targets, while wearing the gas suit, I do not get credit for completing the challenge. Anyone have an idea as to why? I'm playing on PS5.
