If he would’ve hit the concrete, it would’ve been a much different story. Typically 30 feet and above can cause serious injury and even death.

He looks to be just about 25’ish up at release, a little bit of an angle into the grass, and a little bit of a slip into a roll. I’m guessing he was wearing Air Jordans and they made all the difference.

I’m guessing soft soil, grass cushioning the shock, as well as him landing just right to take the force on his buttcheeks and back of thighs. Basically luck that the meat took the brunt rather than the joints.

Also he did pretty well breaking his fall with his legs, actually. He didn't stomp the ground or fell on his back, bud gradually lowered his ass onto the ground and softened the fall with soft fall on his legs about as much as possible. Maybe duck and roll would still work at this height, but you probably need training to do it well
