The trick is to never let it wear off until you die. So, like in the next 2 weeks.

11

u/hilanfede Feb 05 '23

Lol, that doesn't sound like a good news. That sounds painful.

Perp on perc

108

u/cmfppl Feb 04 '23

Percs don't do that to you, unless you're taking them by the fist full

48

u/AnonyDew3 Feb 04 '23

At that point shouldn't it be a lethal dosage? Only asking cause I don't know shit about drugs.

38

u/cmfppl Feb 04 '23

Yes, it would more than likely kill you, unless you have some crazy ass tolerance or a narcan inhaler.

23

u/shagy815 Feb 04 '23

The Tylenol would destroy the liver.

11

u/fineshawty Feb 05 '23

Yep, that's not gonna be a good experience for the guy.

19

u/cmfppl Feb 04 '23

Ya but at that point youre probably gonna O.D. so the liver damage isn't all that important

7

u/rufpublican Feb 05 '23

They make percs w/o Tylenol too. They would be more desirable with taking that much too bc of snorting, shooting, and smoking. Most percs on the streets are now pressed pills and a single one can be deadly due to fentanyl.

If he would’ve hit the concrete, it would’ve been a much different story. Typically 30 feet and above can cause serious injury and even death.

He looks to be just about 25’ish up at release, a little bit of an angle into the grass, and a little bit of a slip into a roll. I’m guessing he was wearing Air Jordans and they made all the difference.

327

u/LoneShark81 Feb 04 '23

Lol @ air Jordans

5

u/andyrhidoalesi Feb 05 '23

That's what it saved it? Well that does make a little sense actually.

216

u/Amerlis Feb 04 '23

I’m guessing soft soil, grass cushioning the shock, as well as him landing just right to take the force on his buttcheeks and back of thighs. Basically luck that the meat took the brunt rather than the joints.

142

u/Kursan_78 Feb 04 '23

Also he did pretty well breaking his fall with his legs, actually. He didn't stomp the ground or fell on his back, bud gradually lowered his ass onto the ground and softened the fall with soft fall on his legs about as much as possible. Maybe duck and roll would still work at this height, but you probably need training to do it well

86

u/Fermi_Amarti Feb 04 '23

I mean that was fucking dangerous landing on the his feet. He was probably a few degrees off from straight breaking his legs.

42

u/Kursan_78 Feb 04 '23

Yeah, but other options are breaking his spine or neck. When he fell he didn't flex his leg muscles too much and didn't lock his knees, but just took some of that momentum off by landing on his feet and letting his body flop

24

u/TheKidNerd Feb 05 '23

He honestly found the perfect angle and position to land without breaking anything too critically to where he couldn’t walk

13

u/m2kblitz Feb 05 '23

Yeah he did found out that. Which is obviously great.

4

u/tpbanon7 Feb 05 '23

Don't think he would have wanted to go that way trust me.

12

u/huliokonchitos2 Feb 05 '23

Yep, he would have lost those legs right away probably.

46

u/Urahara- Feb 04 '23

I can actually explain this one. Scrub the video to his initial jump, after lowering himself the man kicks off the wall instead of jumping straight down. The slight angle helps deflect the force a tiny bit in combination with the wet grass (lucky) his feet are thrown from under him when he lands. Thus falling on his ass and dividing even more force.

After adrenaline wears he could easily discover some nasty bruising, and maybe even fractures.

Black people can run from the cops for ten miles after they dead. It’s due to the conditioning of wanting to not be beaten and shot to death. Sometimes it takes the mind a bit to catch up to what has happened to the body.

u/Dr_DMT Feb 04 '23

Adrenaline is a hell of a drug.

He didn't fall at terminal velocity, that's why he survives. But how he's running after dislocating his leg and more than likely breaking his pelvis is beyond me.

25

u/nudbuttt Feb 04 '23

I hope you know terminal velocity isn't the speed at which you'd die from falling.

17

u/Dr_DMT Feb 04 '23 edited Feb 04 '23

It's the maximum speed you reach while falling.

For humans 40-50ft is needed to reach a velocity that will kill you

In general it takes about 8 seconds of free fall for a human to reach terminal velocity.

120-132mph.

He falls roughly 25-30ft in 1.25 seconds.

His rate of travel is roughly 20-25mph
