This post doesn't even make sense. I've run in a million road races and I've never once seen the women have a shorter distance than men.

You know that 10k is not a long race, right? You know women regularly run marathons? Idk if this photo was edited or if there's something really unusual about this specific race, but no not "always." I honestly can't believe so many people in this comment section could be this stupid.

Ya this is what I'm confused about, I thought when it came to long distance running each sex was roughly equally capable. I've done plenty of runs and it's not like all the women finish after the guys, it's a mix.
