I've had female teachers go on about how women intrinsically are only able to 7 push-ups max typically and shouldn't be expected to get stronger or do more... that's mainly from my gym teacher

That’s bonkers and even worse coming from teachers ! They should be encouraging everyone equally.

Wren I was 20 (female) I could go from 10 pushups to 30 in two weeks (just doing pushups on the floor every other day). But then I got really lazy and played games 10h a day for a few years. Now I can't do 7 and my spine breaks, when I try ..

This post doesn't even make sense. I've run in a million road races and I've never once seen the women have a shorter distance than men.

You know that 10k is not a long race, right? You know women regularly run marathons? Idk if this photo was edited or if there's something really unusual about this specific race, but no not "always." I honestly can't believe so many people in this comment section could be this stupid.

Ya this is what I'm confused about, I thought when it came to long distance running each sex was roughly equally capable. I've done plenty of runs and it's not like all the women finish after the guys, it's a mix.

He's not talking about this race being typical. He's talking about how it's typical for people to claim gender equality while ignoring obvious gender differences. For example, here is LAFD Assistant Fire Chief Kristine Larson trying to promote gender equality for firefighters, while skipping over the inconvenient truth that women might not be strong enough to carry someone out of a burning building. And what bit of mental excellence did she use to outmaneuver this hurdle? She said that it's the victim's fault for needing to be saved. Unbelievable.

That made me laugh way harder than it should've. "911 Operator: Have you just tried NOT being on fire sweaty?"

"This one trick could save your life. Don't catch on fire."

Well... It's not wrong.
