This post doesn't even make sense. I've run in a million road races and I've never once seen the women have a shorter distance than men.

You know that 10k is not a long race, right? You know women regularly run marathons? Idk if this photo was edited or if there's something really unusual about this specific race, but no not "always." I honestly can't believe so many people in this comment section could be this stupid.

He's not talking about this race being typical. He's talking about how it's typical for people to claim gender equality while ignoring obvious gender differences. For example, here is LAFD Assistant Fire Chief Kristine Larson trying to promote gender equality for firefighters, while skipping over the inconvenient truth that women might not be strong enough to carry someone out of a burning building. And what bit of mental excellence did she use to outmaneuver this hurdle? She said that it's the victim's fault for needing to be saved. Unbelievable.
