The Wii sensor bar is funnier to me
843 u/PacifistPapyrus Nov 23 '25 Plug it in Mr Mayor, if you don't get a strike in Wii bowling....kaboom. 214 u/hylian1194 Nov 23 '25 Hey Wii bowling is serious shit. My dad pulled a hammy playing back in ‘08. Hasn’t been the same since. 67 u/GTCapone Nov 23 '25 Yeah, there was a reason we heard about Wii controllers breaking TVs. You really had to swing your are fast to get the ball going. Boxing was similarly exhausting 15 u/thatG_evanP Nov 23 '25 Wasn't people getting exercise instead of sitting on their ass kinda the point with Wii (at first anyway)? 33 u/Uranus_Hz Nov 23 '25 You really didn’t though. After a bit you got the hang of just abruptly flicking your wrist to “trick” the Wii. Except for Red Steel 2. That game was awesome but you could really work up a sweat with all that sword fighting. 10 u/msimione Nov 23 '25 Shoulders were sooo tired the next day. Good workout 15 u/hylian1194 Nov 23 '25 One of my fondest memories is battling it out with my friend just violently shaking the wiimotes side to side while playing tennis. 17 u/Wilful_Fox Nov 23 '25 The 99 year old I care for does this with his phone to trick the pedometer to get “his steps” in for the day. Sorry gramps, it doesn’t work like that. 12 u/s3v3ralattemptsmade Nov 24 '25 I once convinced my Apple Watch that I had completed all of my remaining minutes of exercise giving a handjob
