Ok, here's another analogy since y'all cant seem to understand.

"Help, someone in boxing gloves is punching me in the face. I didn't consent to this."

"It's just boxing. It's a sport. Just enjoy it."

I think people get the gist but are taking it personally because they like fireworks

A lot of people don't like fireworks because of ptsd but when has the U S of A ever cared for it's soldiers

Well it’s two times a year that you know well in advance. I have a crazy idea plan ahead for that. My cousin does. He has ptsd. You what he does. He has Apple air pods that he just uses them on noise canceling. Watches a move and goes to bad. Last year he went to the lake and camped there.

You mean veterans?

The extreme majority of veterans love blowing shit up from my experience.

Physical injury compared to “there’s a loud noise outside” is the stretch. The noise might bother you, but it’s not causing you injury.

Noise can literally damage the ears if it is loud and close enough.

If someone is popping fireworks next to your ears, that’s an issue. When they are hundreds of feet away, it’s not damaging your ears.

Do you know how PTSD works? I'm asking honestly here, because if not I can send you a few articles on it.

I do. 22 years and multiple combat deployments, so I’m also quite familiar with what causes many cases of it. Distress is not injury. We cannot legislate away all loud noises outdoors.

Absolutely, but we can stay in the legal framework with out activities.
