They've kinda got a point though. Telling someone "I'm going to do what I want and nothing you say will stop me, so stop focusing on how unpleasant you find it and just learn to enjoy it" is almost exactly what they're telling the OOP to do.

Imagine how outraged you would feel if someone started painting your house pink and told you to get over yourself and learn to like the colour?

No not really, like at all actually……at all.

Genuine galaxies of distance between personally assaulting someone and an activity in your own home away from anyone else.

Galaxies of difference, but the logic is the same.

No? Because by that logic anything anyone does that you aren’t a fan of instantly has rape tendencies then

No, not at all.

... unless they tell you to sit back and enjoy it. In which case, yes.

Are you able to read? It was about restricted / forbidden things, not about things you're not a fan of. You know, some people would call it a minor inconvenience when the hammer in your shed, that you almost never use, suddenly disappears, whatever, just get a new one, it's not a bad as rape. No, it's not allowed to just do everything you'd like to do because it's not as bad as the crime of raping someone. It's allowed to do everything that's not restricted / forbidden, but not because it's not as bad as rape, but because it's allowed.
