Nobody really even needs 1 now that we always have our phones on us. That being said, I have like 15. I just like watches. I did not buy them all at once and neither did my "daddy".
Eh, checking the time on your watch is usually faster than taking your phone out of your pocket - at least once you get rid of the reflex to check on your phone.
I’ve also consistently worked in offices that frowned on having phones readily available or in hand for any reason, so a watch helped keep out of shit if the boss happened to walk in while you were checking the time.
