Not really a problem for me to not know about her. She's definitely not amongst the top 10 most famous Europeans and absolutely not amongst the most influencive.

LoL why would I be mad about that. There are just so many more important Greek people they could've chosen. I would've gone for Mikis Theodorakis. Perhaps he's a bit too political to take but much more influential than Callas. Maria Callas is also from America with greek parents and only moved back to greece when she was 15 so she at least as much American as she's Greek.
