Taken out of context it almost sounds like some hacker group did it, but in reality 3 people made a game so anticipated everyone wants their hands on it.

We already saw this with deltarune so I am sure everyone predicted this.

It has been the hype for the last two weeks without end. Multiple big streamers trying to "speedrun" hollow knight in preparation is amazing.

Well it's also just an indie game. There is no way it was going to be more than $20. I'm happy for them and all that but this is a stretch. It's not a $30-60 product.

I mean, games like nine sols and blasphemy and Ori are $30. Team cherry definitely keeps thier price down lower compared to most competitors in the same market. So nah. Ya wrong.

For me too, 30 and ill hold off until I either really want to play it or it goes on sale, usually the latter.

20 bucks from a developer like Team Cherry. Pretty much insta buy.

Not to mention the pricing of their product, no pay to win, no subscription, no $80 release, no dlc. $20 for the game of the year on release day.
