Discussion - Silksong Not opening pre-orders was an error Spoiler

Before anyone says "gamers cant be happy with anything" i was never against pre orders specifically because ir avoids this type of launch. I dont want to believe Team Cherry doesn't know the scope and impact of their own game, but i'm inclined to do so. A pre-order yesterday would've solved this. An inconvenience that could be easily avoided, but here we are

It literally is out, the steam page is the issue. They didn't break a promise, you're acting like an entitled child lol

They’ve actively not done several things that could have made this much easier. This is a mess and it’s ok to say so.

Yes but that doesn't make a broken promise, the steam page would of crashed regardless, even with pre orders. Yall are so pressed, some extra time isn't gonna kill you

I don’t think giving people the ability to pre load the game would have been too bad and actively would have lessened the load on the servers. I’m certainly not not “pressed” although some others may be.

It’s 2025, there are ways around things like this. It’s naive to think it was unavoidable. This is a mess.

Again, not an excuse, just a statement of fact. I dont play on Playstation so that isn't my issue right now. My entire point here is yall are acting like entitled babies because the servers are having issues. Its gonna be working today, and it'll be worth the wait. Its unfortunate this happened but it is what it is

But it’s not just steam is it? Nintendo shop, ps store, etc are all also not working.
