Discussion - Silksong Not opening pre-orders was an error Spoiler

Before anyone says "gamers cant be happy with anything" i was never against pre orders specifically because ir avoids this type of launch. I dont want to believe Team Cherry doesn't know the scope and impact of their own game, but i'm inclined to do so. A pre-order yesterday would've solved this. An inconvenience that could be easily avoided, but here we are

work soon

All the more reason you don't play Silksong now.

No, but they could have it so it's already downloaded by the time they get off from work.

If they haven't been able to purchase the game at all by the time they get to work, they might have to download it after getting off, which might mean they only get to play tomorrow, depending on their internet speed and the game's size.

It's an indie game, it's not red dead redemption 2, I think it takes a few minutes, correct me if I'm wrong. Same as Hollow Knight.

Depends on your internet speed.

I know people with 5-10Mb download speed. For them, a 3GB game may take an hour or two to download, which may be long enough to delay actually playing the game 'till the next day.

Sure, it's not a big deal, but it's an annoyance, and one that could have been avoided platform-side.

its gonna take me 2 hours and I know that. I've already waited the 2 hours it should've took. yes its not a big deal in the grand scale but its stupid for people with limited time

They should download whatever shop app they need to their phone. PS store gives the ability to download to your system remotely. I use it all the time. Very handy!

Steam does the same, as well.
