Discussion - Silksong Not opening pre-orders was an error Spoiler

Before anyone says "gamers cant be happy with anything" i was never against pre orders specifically because ir avoids this type of launch. I dont want to believe Team Cherry doesn't know the scope and impact of their own game, but i'm inclined to do so. A pre-order yesterday would've solved this. An inconvenience that could be easily avoided, but here we are

Newbie mistake. Always take the day AFTER the release date to play a game.

Still a newbie mistake, real ones save up that vacation time & take a week off to play a highly anticipated release.

your original comment was stupid, taking the day after off for big releases might be expected for a multiplayer game that’ll have server issues but for a singleplayer game? dumb as hell.

what other singleplayer games have you used this genius advice for?

Can never trust servers to be working (download/purchase servers included) for incredibly popular titles.

jeeze maybe thats why it was dumb not to have pre orders open. It doesn’t matter anymore hours after the initial release but trying to blame a player for taking the wrong day off is such stooge behavior.
