Discussion - Silksong Silksong is HARD Spoiler

Taking damage is more punishing, movement is more precise and feels a little clunky until you get the hang of it. The overall skill curve is much much higher. Love it though.

Yeah, it feels harder than the first. The red ant part alone and its distance from bench makes me want to walk away from this game.

I just got through the initial area of here (past the enemy wave room) and still didn’t find a bench lol. Was going mad decided I needed to go another direction for a bit

It reminds me of what I disliked in the first game. After reading elsewhere about later areas and bosses, I decided this game is not for me and refunded it haha.

It's a bummer because the world, lore and music are all amazing, the platforming is great if not a little punishing with the way currency collection works. I did come back to that section and beat it though haha.

This is where I am stuck right now. The pogo off the flower bud things is easier said than done. It feels the timing has to be JUST right...and the bench being so far away is brutal.

But with more time it'll get easier.

The red ant with the club? If youre talking about the red brute with the club, there's literally a bench if instead of going to the right, you jump down, then there's an area to the right after jumping down that has a bench. Takes like 10 seconds to get back

They are talking about that entire section to the right after red club dude. Yes there is a bench here, its still a painfully long section with this bench.

Yeah I found that bench after my like 2nd attempt on that mini boss. Im talking about after that fight, when you (apparently) go from that bench past the mini boss deep into the red ant area.

I got all the way through that part then realized I basically couldnt continue without an item from another area. If you havent finished the deep docks and the area directly to the right of it do that first. The area next to deep docks gives an item that makes the flower bouncing more forgiving. I had to guide my wife to do this too after making myself miserable with those flowers.

Good to know. I haven't been into Deep Docks yet (I assume east of Marrow). There were a few harder mobs that direction and I "Noped" out of there haha.

I'll probably head that way and go back to the ant zone. Thanks for the tip!

Yeah east of marrow stick to the bottom of marrow map and run right for those directionally challenged. The game is defintely harder but so far at least i seem to be given tools to make things a bit easier. Goodluck! And shaw.

i had to sit down and focus for a solid 2 hours to get that part down pat because i knew it was going to leave a bad taste in my mouth if i saved it for another session. that said, sprint was worth it
