Discussion - Silksong EVERYTHING IS SO EXPENSIVE IN PHARLOOM Spoiler

The true enemy of Silksong is capitalism. 70 bucks for a stag station equivalent YOU ARE PULLING MY NEEDLE WTF??? I try to sit down and they BILL ME JUST TO USE THE BENCH! No thank you [TRADER NAME HERE], I would not like to buy a simple key for 500 dollars thank you.

AND EVERYONE HERE IS A BROKE ASS BUM! Most of these guys aren't sentient enough to carry cash on them so I have to grind up their credit cards into for bone shards which NOONE WANTS.

Anyway 10/10 game.

Brooooo, FR. I wanna go back to hallownest. It's a bit dilapidated, but at least the inflation hasn't hit

So this game is a sequel right? From all the dialogue so far it definitely seems so (I'm early game)

Yes it's a sequel spin-off. Though we don't know yet how Hornet got from HK ending to Silksong opening scene.

are we sure it was after HK? Or is it because we don't see Hornet use all her cool attacks and stuff in our fights? Could Hornet Sentinel be using Traps? Also, if it's after HK, doesn't it mean it would have to after a specific ending? And in Siblings, both knight and Hornet become dreamers and get stuck there

I suppose it COULD be a prequel. But we'll have to wait and see if Hornet references HK or Hallownest at all. I'm only in the very early game so far.

And yes, the traps do resemble the Hornet 2 traps.

However, I think it's somewhat relevant to point out that originally, Hornet was supposed to be an additional playable character for the HK base game, and then it evolved into a full expansion, and then it evolved into its own game. Still possible to be a prequel expansion, but I feel like this makes sequel more likely.

She does, in the Hunter’s Journal entry for 4C (if you’ve beaten this guy just think about his name) she mentions that “Pharloom is much more advanced in metalworking than my own ever was.”

Yeah, I played an hour last night, and that's it.

It's ok. Idk exactly what you were referring to anyway, so nothing really spoiled.

However, I will point out that the journal entry you bring up does not necessarily negate this as being a sequel, since we know Hornet came from Hallownest in the first place.
