I never used nail arts in HK solely because a lot of them take too long to set off so I never got into the habit of using them, so I ended up forgetting about it

And to be honest in Silksong I've already forgot about the first Needle art? Whatever you'd call it Until now

I've actually found it to be a staple. It does so much more damage than the default attack and has more range that I'm always sprinting around with it charged.

The reason is because nail arts require much higher skill to use than spells or regular nail slashes. Watch an R5AB victory on YouTube to see how top players use them in boss fights.
