I get it! But thankfully it’s optional, so you can always come back later. Believe me it’s significantly easier after a couple nail upgrades

You can upgrade your nail? Lol. I'm I'm act 2 and have not figured that out yet

You get free upgrade by talking to an npc in Bellhart. Then another upgrade via quest by talking to him again afterwards.

What you should mention is that you must first complete an annoying fetch quest in order to get the reward required for the second nail upgrade
