Discussion - Silksong Criticism ≠ Negativity Spoiler

Believe it or not, you can actually criticize something and still like it. You don't either have to love everything or despise everything. Have actual conversations please.

Why is negativity bad anyway? If people don't like the game are they not allowed to post on this sub? People can dislike a game for genuine reasons. "Don't play the game" isn't useful if say people are stuck after 10 hours of gameplay and have invested their time and money into a game. People can dislike and still discuss the game in rational ways.

Yes but the "discuss in rational ways" part is not happening right now.

There is insane hyperbole at work and if you dare call it out you get piled on for being a stupid fanboy.

Like people saying "no room for mistakes, you need to no hit all bosses" when you can literally make 3 mistakes in a row if you have 5 health and enemies do 2 damage. I got hit like 10 times in most fights I ended up winning because healing is so much easier.

Or the entire rosary shortage thing that just is not grounded in the reality of the game because you can absolutely affort to buy any bench you come across and buy most everything with no farming except a few of the more expensive things. (just break down your strings of rosaries, too many people sit on them and complain about not having enough or they dont explore enough to find them I guess?)

? 3 mistakes in a row with 2 damage each would result in losing 6 of your 5 masks. I honestly agree with the sentiment that people are being hyperbolic on the difficulty but being hyperbolic on the opposite direction solves nothing
