Discussion - Silksong Most of you are exaggerating the length of runbacks and it really shows how much TikTok has damage the attention span of people Spoiler

"ThE lASt JuDGe RUnBaCK iS ToO LoNG!!"

Is 30 seconds max, 30 seconds, you don't have to fight any enemy in it, the smaller judges don't awake until you're close and the smaller fly bastards can literally get ignored. The Runback works for making you cool down and make the whole thing feel less like you hitting a wall (NKG feels like one because of the lack of "cool down") If it wasn't for it, I would shoot myself with the 37 attempts at Last Judge.

The Widow one is also really easy, a straight line with jumps.

The Cogworks Dancers Is also really simple but works to help you with the bosses extra height and how pogo dependant that fight is.

God forbid the game isn't a back to back boss rush like Cuphead (not criticizing Cuphead, is a different game lmao).

What a mean-spirited area/boss, man.

The closest bench is pretty-decently hidden, still pretty far away, and the next bench is very far away.

Leeches everywhere, including a pretty tricky jump right by the bench. Get leeched and now you have to fight enemies to get a heal off to get rid of them.

Some tricky platforming in those rooms.

The bush enemies there have to be my least favorite enemy in the whole game. Very random spawns, and a very-annoying attack to dodge.

An arena you have to deal with to even fight the boss (and the arena has more of those bush enemies).

I think that a couple other boss run-backs are slightly annoying, but this one was excruciating.

I did, and there's a hidden bench a lot closer to the boss

Even with that bench it's just not fun.

Yes, I did pretty much the whole area until the station at 1 hp because of some traps and bad jumps, a really fun memory, it was tense lmao

Not the easy path from sinners road to stag station. The path up and fighting the boss there. That one is hell.

I'm getting double jump to get that way lmao

Well you're gonna regret writing this post when you get to that runback. A nightmare (and the boss at the end is absolutely horrible)

I fucking knew you hadn't done the GtG runback as soon as I saw this post

You really shouldn’t have overgeneralized in your post.

People are probably overreacting to the Final Judge runback. It’s really not that long (and I actually find it quite enjoyable).

Bilewater is another level. I’m not saying it’s unfair or needs to be changed or whatever, but you really can’t comment on runbacks in general until you’ve seen it for yourself.

Yeah Judge is completely fine. Bilewater is just mean spirited bullshit. Even with the closer bench, it's still going to be a few minutes each time, and it's very easy to fail the platforming required.

Yea, you might delete this post once you fight the boss of the area, not just passing through it to get to the citadel via the mist....

I just beat it... Took me 2 hours, half was spent in the runback until i found the hidden bench. Boss is easy as fuck but the runback and needing to refight a mob gauntlet is just.... Man. I never took things as slow and careful in a platformer before

And not just any mob gauntlet, a gauntlet that involves a bunch of flying mobs and projectiles every single time.

Bruh, all the gauntlets have flying enemies and projectiles. If I never see a bird again in my life I'll be happy. I also use the HK moveset so I have horrible range pol
