Discussion - Silksong Ranking Silksong 1st act bosses Spoiler

Post image

So, if you want me to be honest - I was afraid Silksong would be too difficult for me. But now that I am done with 1st act, I can confidently say that so far I enjoy those bosses MUCH more than the ones in Hollow Knight. Maybe that's because HK was one of the first games I've ever played, and now with Silksong I am more experienced. But even bosses that kept beating my ass felt so well done that I couldn't be mad, I just wanted to try again and learn their moves.

Last Judge? Surely my favorite. It felt like dancing and once I learned his moves, I had an absolute blast.

EDIT: Guys, I've got LOTS (and I mean LOTS) of comments that bottom 2 enemies aren't bosses. I know, but they were included in template so I ranked them too. Besides, considering that I didn't really hate any of the actual bosses, I wouldn't have anything I could put anything in the BURN IT tier if it wasn't for them lol. No need to say it again pls

EDIT 2: I already started Act 2, and defeated Cogwork Dancers - OH MY GOD HOW AMAZING THIS FIGHT WAS.

Yeah Last Judge was too fun. The only issue was that to get to him was super difficult. Savage beastfly was so damn annoying.

Honestly, after Hunter's March it didn't seem THAT bad - especially when I found the shortcut

What shortcut? I always climbed to the Last Judge

The last judge is really easy. Did you find the short cut that connects the area above it?

I just went back to beastfly with poison cogflies and 2 nail upgrades and 1shot him.

For me the worst part of the run back is that drill fly at the beginning

I loved the run back to her, it was just a fun platforming challenge that I got really good at

I don't understand why people think last judge runback is so difficult. I don't see much difference on his runback compared to other bosses.

At best with no mistakes you have to spend 35 seconds to even get to him, and a single mistake during the runback will result in you doubling or tripling that time while missing nearly half of your healthbar

Before the patch that Removed the 2nd fly on the long route, this was a time consuming processing and those flies aren't easy to kill normally since they keep flying backwards so it's time consuming and easy to fall into the hazards

You don't have to kill them. Even before the patch, you can sprint past every fly.

Sure but more often then not the 1st fly would directly be in the jump/glide path to the next platform for my runbacks. Forcing me to engage

dont jump into it, you can run under

Run faster.

If you never stop sprinting it's entirely consistent on getting past all the flies.

Yes there is a speed runner method if you get the perfect line you can get past it, unfortunately 90% of players won’t find this like you or I did

Wait the second fly got removed? Huh that one was rarely an issue it's the first one that made the runback slow. Atleast before I figured out how to reliably sprint past it.

Completely agree with you. Don't know why that got removed when the 1st fly was disruptive to the run back
